    This is the base facility for Meiji no Mori Mino Quasi-National Park. The site is comprised of an exhibition room filled with everything about the geology and highlights of Mino to models of animals and plants and specimens, a lecture room that doubles as a library, and a management building. Many people visit it as a base when using the park, and use of the facility is free. Besides nature workshops that children enjoy, it also holds various nature experience events such as nature observation meetings regularly. In addition, you can spread out lunch boxes in Momiji Plaza, and the walking path is popular with parents and their children.
  • Kashiwara City Grape Sightseeing Center

    This information center is inside the JA Osaka Nakakawauchi Kashiwara Agricultural Purchasing site. During the grape season from mid-August to mid-October, it serves as a registration point for grape picking tours. You can try grape picking yourself, and reservations are unnecessary for groups below 20 members. Once you've singed in, a clerk will show you the way to a nearby grape vineyards and you can borrow all the tools you need free of charge. They also offer delivery all over Japan, and sell popular local Kashiwara Wine.
