Hakodate Community Design Center (函館市地域交流まちづくりセンター)
4.0
The Hakodate Community Design Center is located in a building that was originally constructed in 1923 to serve as the Hakodate Branch of the Maruiimai clothing chain; the renovated building reopened as the Hakodate Community Design Center in April 2007. The Center disseminates information about local matters, including tourist information. The Center is around one minute’s walk from the Jujigai streetcar stop, and immediately adjacent to the Jujigai bus stop.

旧丸井今井の建物を利用した建物だそうです。カフェや色々なイベントに部屋を利用できるようでした、観光客用にパンフレットも沢山用意してあります。

エレベーターも現役で動いており、乗せていただくことができました。感無量です。

Hokkaido Areas

Not just a prefecture but an island of its own, Hokkaido is the most northerly prefecture and island of the Japanese archipelago. Arriving in Hokkaido, which is rural and bursting with breathtaking nature, means entering a world where vast national parks, towering mountains, and natural hot springs can be found at every turn. Come December, these natural splendors freeze over and morph into a winter wonderland.
