- "This cafe stands on Bungotakada 's Shinmachi-dori Shopping Street, a shopping street which was revitalized as a retro ""Showa Town"" and which is once again being visited by tourists. One of the city's designated Showa Town establishments, the cafe's exterior exudes a retro atmosphere. Notably, the cafe's menu primarily consists of recreations of school lunch food served during the Showa period. The cafe serves 16 different meals which include things like agepan fried bread, powdered milk, and milk served in old-fashioned bottles; the cafe even uses period-correct trays and tableware! Customers can feel like they've travelled back in time and become a Showa period schoolchild. The cafe's agepan is also available for takeout."

カボスの入ったアジアンカボス丼をいただきました。 豆板醤で豚肉とカラーピーマンを炒めて、真ん中に 温泉卵をトッピングした丼でした。 意外とおいしかったですよ！

この街を心から愛する店主さんの店。店主自ら趣向をからしたおもてなしをしてくださり、食事のハヤシライスも絶品です。勿論珈琲は独自のブレンドとかで、まろやかな味わいは私の好みでした。昭和の街に来たら必ずまた寄ってみたい店です。

Came here on a rainy afternoon. The beef bowl with raw egg was yummy. Generous serving of beef and sauce. Quaint and interesting decor.

Oita Areas
A trip to Oita is tantamount to a long soak in the Beppu baths.
