    Mominoki is a cafe located at an elevation of 1,200 meters on the Shikoku Karsts’s Onogahara Highland. Their completely additive free cheesecake and ice cream are both popular. The cheesecake is rich, creamy and so highly regarded that it has been featured on television. There is a pony ranch next door where you can interact with animals such as rabbits and goats. The cafe closes during the period of heavy snowfall from January to about mid-March. They may close during typhoons as well, so check with the restaurant at such times to see if they are open.

    四国カルストに行った帰りに立ち寄りました。穏やかな店主さん？が対応してくれました。店内でいただきましたが座席も広く、トップコンスタンドに乗ったアイスクリームもとても美味しかったです！店内は可愛い雑貨もいっぱいでした。

    Come have a delicious Japanese-style lunch using fresh local ingredients at this Nordic themed countryside restaurant cafe. The natural atmosphere created by the double-height design with windows and wood accents makes this a comfortable place to relax. Their dessert menu which uses loads of fresh seasonal fruits is especially popular and people from all over send in fruit orders. There are dessert items loved by children including their Grape Parfait in which each grape is carefully peeled and their Special Collab Parfait which allows you to choose your favorite fruits.

    This cafe is located near Imabari Central Cycling Terminal Sunrise Itoyama, the Shikoku side of the Shimanami Kaido Cycling route. As the name of the cafe implies, you can look out from the cafe windows at the Kurushima-Kaikyo Bridge and various islands in the Seto Inland Sea. A popular menu item is their Rainbow Soda which uses a variety of fruits and vegetables to color natural spring water. This additive free natural soda has a light flavor that perfectly matches the refreshing scenery. Pets are allowed on their wood deck terrace (if the pet is trained).

    This cafe is located at Roadside Station Kirinomori in Umatate, Shingu-cho, Shikokuchuo City. It specializes in Shingu-cha, the type of organic tea grown in the region that was formerly Shingu Village, the birthplace of tea production in Shikoku. The cafe’s kominka-style interior features elements of old Japanese folk homes such as a sunken hearth and sunken kotatsu. Guests can enjoy drinking Shingu green tea and eating sweets such as cakes and soft-serve ice cream made with green tea. The cafe is adjacent to the Shingu-cha Tea Museum, which features exhibits on Shingu-cha.

    霧の森コテージに宿泊した際に利用しました。混んでいることもなく快適でした。地元の方が利用されているようです。最近のスーパー銭湯のようにたくさんの湯舟があるわけではありませんが、お風呂に入る、としては十分でした。周りは川や橋があり、気持ちいいところです。

    A popular pastry shop and café located on Hakata-jima Island in Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture frequented by fans from both within and outside the prefecture. The café’s roots lead back to a Japanese sweet shop opened on Hakata Island shortly after the Second World War ended which later began offering Western-style sweets as well. Popular confections include the shop’s signature short cake; eclairs; and cakes made with an abundance of strawberries, peaches, and other seasonal fruits. The shop has an eat-in space in the back with a view of the ocean where you can enjoy original blend coffee and light meals in addition to sweets. The croque-monsieur is a particularly popular lunch choice.

    1月8日土曜日14時頃行きました。初めて利用したが少し年配の方の対応が良くなかった。テーブル席は空いていたが「5人のお客様がくるのでそのお客様を窓際を優先してます。他の席でもいいでしょうか?」「5名さまは予約指定されていませんがその方は窓際に勧めたいので」と。こちらはどこでも良かったのですが、聞きもしないことをそんなに言われて気分が悪かった。

    This is a cafe restaurant on the east coast of Oshima in Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture along the Shimanami Kaido Expressway. The cafe is in a great location with the calm sea in front of it, and the lovely interior of the renovated former villa is also attractive. The most popular menu is the Fish of the day lunch using fresh seafood purchased directly from local fishermen. It is a set of dishes consisting of mainly local food ingredients including a seafood dish such as meuniere with soup, salad, and quiche. In the spring, cherry blossoms in the garden bloom beautifully, and visitors can enjoy the cherry blossoms.

    A cozy cafe near the Dogo Onsen. The Nagai Coffee cafe uses coffee beans carefully selected by the seasoned proprietor and roasted in-house using an open fire roaster together with infrared rays. The flannel filter-drip coffee is served in the stylish interior, designed by the proprietor himself.

    道後温泉もこのにぎたつの道まで来ると、観光客はぐんと少なくなります。そこにあるカフェです。本格派のお店で、コロンビアやマンデリンなど種類も多かったです。アメリカンが５００円と結構しますが、丁寧に入れてくれるので、納得のお値段でした。

    昭和61年に当時の駅舎を復元したものです。とは言え、なんとなくこの中で頂くものは美味しく感じてしまいます。注文はティーラテのオールミルク、美味しいということで人に勧められて始めて飲みました。お客も少なく、静かに過ごせました。

    マロンインマロン‼︎ サイズは小さめでしたが、フォンダンショコラのような感じで、フォークで半分に切ると中からとろりんとしたマロンクリームが出てきてとても美味しくいただきました！全体的に空いていましたが、今回はテイクアウトで利用しました。

Stretched across the northwest corner of Shikoku island, Ehime is a nature-rich prefecture boasting beautiful coastlines and a rural center where mountains play host to 26 of the Buddhist temples that make up the Shikoku Pilgrimage. Matsuyama is home to an original post-feudal castle as well as Dogo Onsen, one of the country's oldest natural hot springs. The northern city of Imabari marks the entrance to the Shimano Kaido, a road that crosses six spectacular bridges and several islands, forming a route between Shikoku and mainland Honshu.
