The bright, open atmosphere of the Sea Birds Café, with its glass wall, has the feel of a resort and is popular for its unusual open scenery and design as if the café is floating on water. The café has an extensive menu and is available for parties and wedding parties. During the day there is a space for children to play so is a great place for lunch for families. It is directly connected to JR Hitachi Station.

This little cafe at JR Hitachi Station has great panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean, with a seaside highway running right in front of it. The day I went, the weather was not very good and the sky...

Saza Coffee is a coffee shop which operates a coffee farm in Colombia and is working hard to make the delicious flavor of coffee the best by cultivating coffee beans. Such a cup of Saza coffee is top quality without doubt, but the sweets and food are also popular. The restaurant's high quality hamburg steaks are made with Ibaraki Prefecture's famed Hitachi beef-a popular menu choice since the restaurant first opened its doors in 2002, the flames which whirl up from plate when delivered to your table are also sure to impress. Inside, the restaurant is smartly decorated, making it the perfect place for an anniversary or business meal as well as for enjoying a cup of black tea or coffee made with beans from around the world. "A cafe located on the bank of Lake Senba in Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture. The cafe's floor to ceiling glass windows offer a sweeping view of the lake, and the bright, natural lighting gives the establishment a comfortable atmosphere. In addition to croissant and ciabatta sandwiches, swan-shaped choux cremes, almond cake, and other suitable cafe selections, the establishment also serves heartier fare like beef stew (the most popular item on the menu), and the ""Kobun Plate,"" which comes with several dishes. The cafe also has a shop area where you can buy ceramics and coffee beans."

Ibaraki Pref. Kitaibarakishi Sekimotochou Fukuda 1476-10
A coffee shop using in-house roasted beans located an 18 minute walk from Otsuko Station. Surrounded by trees and greenery, this hideaway-style café has a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The café operates out of a renovated former charcoal grilling restaurant; retaining many traces of its past, the buildings large windows provide nice views of the surrounding seasonal scenery. The view is particularly beautiful in spring as the new leaves come in and in fall when the autumn foliage colors the area. The shop’s Sanso blend, a coffee blend created through much trial and error by the owner, has a clean, refreshing flavor. The café’s handmade sweets go well with coffee as well. The lemon cake, topped with dried fruit, has an invigorating, lemony flavor.
