A long-standing cafe located an eight minute walk from Yagoto Nisseki Station on the Meijo Line subway known for its unusual menu selections such as sweet matcha and ogura spaghetti, and shiruko sweet bean soup spaghetti. The cafe also offers one coin hamburg steak and spaghetti set meals. In addition to boasting a deep-seated love among local students, the cafe is also frequented by tourists from far and wide.

We have to this restaurant and we have received the worst customer service ever in Japan. The amount of food is quit much, so we asked for packing and taking back home, they said its not allowed...

Originally a coffee specialty shop founded in 1963, in addition to a conventional menu of café favorites, Café Tanaka is famous for its sweets created by an in-house pâtissier. The café’s most popular sweets are its special Mont Blanc, seasonal gateau, and baked sweets, offered with a special coffee or cup of select tea served during afternoon tea, weekdays from 1:00 pm. Numbers are limited and preference is given to those who make reservations in advance; accordingly, making a reservation is recommended. A three minute walk from Kami-Iida Station on the Meitetsu Komaki Line.

Great selection of lunch meals, which was finished by an excellent choice of cakes to die for!! Relaxing decor and ambience and service was very good too.

The sweet adzuki bean paste toasted sandwich, typical Nagoya food, is a popular choice. Their home-roasted coffee is also really good.

The “Piyorin” snack is sold during certain seasons and events as well, with “Piyorin shortbread” and “Piyorin chocolate” making popular souvenirs.

This patisserie and cafe sits in a great location on top of a hill overlooking Mikawa Bay in Mihama Town, Chita County, Aichi Prefecture. On crossing the small bridge from the parking lot, passing along the small path with green everywhere, and reaching the top of the stairs, an open terrace with gorgeous blue sea view greets the visitor. In the exotic white-walled house is a space full of colorful French confections like a box of jewelry. Cake and parfait with plenty of fruits from Mihama are popular, as well as the seasonal sweets.

駐車場は4カ所あり、かなりの台数が利用できる。山手を階段で登ると店がある。雨上がりでしたが、雨の日限定のパフェを頼みました。ボリュームがあるけど、意外と食べられる。フルーツパフェもボリュームあり。フルーツも美味しくて良い。ケーキセットもある。パフェがおすすめ。案外男性グループが多かった。

Coffee Kajita, located about three minutes’ walk from Issha Station on the Higashiyama Subway Line, is a café with simple white walls, and opens only three days a week. This tiny shop has counter seating only. It is popular as delicious coffee and homemade cakes can be enjoyed and coffee lovers repeatedly come back. The blended coffee, which is thoroughly brewed using only carefully selected high quality coffee beans, is recommended. You can select coffee classified by the level of roasting according to your liking. Sawayaka for which the coffee is lightly roasted is popular. It is less bitter and astringent so is easy to drink.

カウンター席のみ。ケーキが売り切れでした。「ベンチにかけてお待ち下さい」と言われたのですが、ベンチに座っている人達は詰めてもくれない。カウンター席の器を片付けていないからなのか？座らせない~。しばらく立っていました。カウンター席も狭いゆえ、コーヒーはいただかず、ドリップコーヒーを買って帰りました。中にはポストカードが入っていましたが、あらためて行こうとは思いません。
