This cafe is located close to the Torichosuji tram station. This is the flagship location of a chain of cafes which have been serving authentic coffee at reasonable prices since its establishment in 1945. The Okada Blend, created from a base of Santos and Jamaican beans plus five other varieties, is the cafe's standard. Exquisitely balancing body, bitterness, aroma, and sweetness, this blended coffee is the flavor of a true specialty establishment which has been preserved unchanged since the chain's founding. In the sister establishment on the second floor, you can enjoy the cafe's vaunted coffee along with lunch or dessert.

Perfect place to get a good cup of coffee and piece of cake between shopping. Decor is 70s and choose to sit at the bar, you can watch the baristas and waitress prepare your coffee & food. Simple...

"A cafe located close to the Minamioguni Town government hall. The cafe's signature apple pies are made with apples stewed in sanonto sugar and wrapped in a handmade crust. The establishment has attracted attention for its abundant use of apples in many of its dishes, such as its ""Apple Cheese"" cake topped with apple slices, and Japanese-style curry made with apples instead of potatoes. The taste of the cafe's lovingly crafted dishes has won it many fans. The establishment also sells natural yeast breads, making it a great destination for bread-lovers. The laid-back interior gives off a secret hideaway vibe and customers can enjoy lunch through dinner here."

    Kumamoto Aso-shi Kurabaru 625-1
"This cafe operates out of a remodeled barn which is over 200 years old. The cafe's decor exudes a Japanese modern atmosphere, and inside it serves diligently hand dripped, home-roasted coffee. Dedicated to the concept of local production for local consumption, the cafe uses ingredients grown in its own vegetable garden and farm in its foods and desserts. For lunch, the cafe offers a choice of two meals - ""Zen Lunch"" is Higo red beef sirloin diligently grilled over a charcoal fire, and ""Pasta Lunch"" is a pasta with your choice of one of three main dishes. Either one enables you to save the innate, natural sweetness, bitterness, and deliciousness of a variety of home grown vegetables."
