The building spans four floors above ground and one basement level, and on the first and second floors you’ll find a variety of stores including food, home goods, and the Hiroshima T-SITE bookstore. Events are also occasionally held on site.

お洒落なショッピングセンターです。蔦屋が入ってました。スーパーはゆめタウンです。フードコートも店が豊富で楽しめました。

This specialty shopping area is attached to the NTT Cred Motomachi Building and focuses on ladies’ fashion while also having a wide variety of unique general goods shops. In the restaurant areas on the B1F and 8F, you can enjoy foods from a variety of countries including Indian and Italian cuisines.

Nice building, major brands, big shopping center, but not the reason why we come to Japan as we can find all these back home. Took a half hour walk and went off.

This shopping center is located next to Hiroshima Station and a five-minute walk from Tenjingawa Station. Designed to be a veritable stage where visitors can enjoy life, the mall is occupied by over 280 tenants. The mall’s vast grounds are more than 110,000 square meters, making it one of the largest malls in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions. The mall was built on the site of the Kirin Beer Hiroshima Factory and vestiges of the factory can be seen in several parts of the facility. Mall highlights include its open and airy 10-meter-high ceilings, information desk housed in a huge industrial beer still, and a real steam locomotive on display on the grounds.

福屋八丁堀本店は、広島の地元の老舗デパートです。私たちは広島に着いた前日に、広島駅前にあった福屋を訪れていましたが、こちらが本店なんですね。複数の棟で構成されているように見えたので、時代に合わせて大きく成長してきたのでしょう。開業は昭和４年という、歴史あるデパートです。全国の地元の老舗デパートは、各地で消滅する時代になっていますから、ぜひ、頑張ってほしいと思いました。

This underground shopping mall located in Kamiya-cho in the heart of Hiroshima City was opened as Hiroshima’s first underground shopping mall in 2001. Connected to the city’s streetcar system and the Astram Line, the mall is easy to get to even on rainy days. In addition to fashionable apparel shops and boutiques, tenants include relaxation facilities, restaurants, and a variety of other establishments. Functioning not only as a mall but also a center for transportation, tourism, commerce, and finance, each day more than 130 thousand people pass through the mall’s central plaza.

Its like any regular mall. Go if you have time else can be given a miss, no need to go out of the way to check this place. There are lot of other places to check out

This department store stands in front of the Kamiyacho-nishi streetcar stop a 15-minute tram ride from Hiroshima Station. One of Hiroshima’s leading department stores, the facility delivers cutting-edge trends and authentic quality. The department store consists of a main building with 10 aboveground floors and a new building with 11 aboveground floors, and the two buildings are joined by passageways on floors one, three, and six. The entire third floor of the main building is a bus center where you can catch busses which run in the city, highway busses which connect to other municipalities, and airport limousine busses.

そごう広島店は、広島市の中心街である紙屋町の交差点に面して建っていました。広島を代表する百貨店のひとつです。私たちのこの日は、広島市内観光の一日で、ちょうどこのそごうを見つけたので、休憩のために立ち寄りました。館内案内を見ると、そごうには新館と本館があって、各階に休憩できそうなカフェが入っていました。私たちは、新館３階のカフェでしばらくのんびりと休憩できました。

This is a department store opened in 1973 in Naka District of Hiroshima City in Hiroshima Prefecture. This store has assembled from its first floor up to the eighth floor, a menagerie of fine quality shops selling garments, cosmetics, household items, foods and more. The underground level floor offers many food items recommended as Hiroshima souvenirs, such as the conger eel and rice box by Ueno, and the Iro-iro by Shungetsu Kagura for its tasty monaka (bean-jam-filled wafers) decorated with the image of Hiroshima in five colors. In the social events hall various souvenir exhibits or cultural exhibitions are hosted.

ランチに利用しました。洋食弁当は料理の種類が豊富で、サラダにお刺身、トンカツ、ローストビーフと量は少しずつですが、入っており、美味しくてお得感があります。料金もリーズナブルです。

A shopping mall located in Kamiya-cho in the heart of Hiroshima City. A well-known Hiroshima destination, the exterior of the building bears a design modeled after the scales of a carp. Mall tenants include a variety of fashionable apparel shops with a focus on women's clothing; a wide variety of restaurants, from Western fare to restaurant's serving Setouchi cuisine; as well as boutiques, bookstores, and even a comprehensive medical center. The medical center is conveniently open even on Saturday afternoons and Sundays. The Sogo Hiroshima Store operates on floors B1, 2, 10, and the roof. There's also a bus terminal on the third floor, making access highly convenient.

猛暑の中、夕方までの2時間を過ごしました。 SONY PLAZAやセレクトされたインナーショプ。ウィンドウショッピングでしたが、主人は紀伊國屋書店で趣味の探索をしていました。夕暮れになり八丁堀方面へ行き広島名物の小鰯やお好み焼きの店、ハシゴして食べ歩きしました。

A tourist facility located in the Hondori Shopping Arcade in Naka Ward, Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture. As well as tourist information and brochures on events and things going on in the prefecture, Hiroshima Dream Plaza sells all sorts of sightseeing tickets and specialty products. The shop has a wide variety of unique Hiroshima souvenirs from different parts of the prefecture. They also hold different events in store such as fresh vegetable markets and sales of seafood, etc. Lots of local residents as well as tourists come here to shop.

本通りにある土産物と地元の買い物が半々のような店でした。店の中は外からは見えないところまで陳列があり、思ったより広かったです。広島駅近くに宿泊していたので結局土産は広島駅であとで購入しましたが、紙屋町周辺宿泊ならこういうところでの土産物も悪くないかもしれないと思いました。

This shopping center is adjacent to the Genbaku Dome (Atomic Bomb Dome) in Naka Ward, Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture. It opened in 2014 in a renovated office building that had been built in 1978. The roof features an open-air observation deck with a roof that offers a great view of the Genbaku Dome, the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, the townscape, and Miyajima Island. This shopping mall is just a three-minute walk from Hondori Station or Kamiyacho-nishi Station, and a five-minute walk from Kamiyacho-higashi Station. Each floor, from the basement to the uppermost fifth floor, specializes in certain types of products. Although most of the stores are clothing stores, it is known for not only carrying ladies’ and children’s’ fashion, but also men’s wear as well. The mall not only has it’s main entrance facing Hondori avenue, but also has an east entrance on Rijodori avenue and west and north entrances as well, making it accessible from all directions. There is more than meets the eye awaiting any Hiroshima-bound traveler. Kicking off in Hiroshima city, the Peace Memorial Park, Hiroshima Castle, and Shukkeien Garden offer a couple of days of exploring; however, the real beauty lies along the southern coast of the prefecture.
