There’s a bus that visitors can ride and feed lions and various herbivores, as well as a night safari, a bird show, and other activities for observing the animals. Tambara Lavender Park is a facility that opens every year from late June to early September where a lavender field and more than 100 types of wonderful flowers can be seen. In the summer two lifts operate and visitors can see the Tambara groves and highlands as well as the lavender fields from above, as if walking on air. Also a lavender oil extraction demonstration and a craft experience are available for visitors. It is located 30 minutes from the Numata Interchange on the Kan-Etsu Expressway.

This is a railroad theme park located in Annaka City’s Matsuida Town established on the site of the former JR Yokokawa Locomotive Depot rail yard. The main attraction is the locomotive engineer experience in which visitors can drive a real 108-ton electric locomotive (reservation required). Inside the park is a Railway Museum where visitors can learn about the history of the now-abandoned Usui Line and the Railway Display Hall which houses more than 30 valuable train cars. Visitors can ride a steam locomotive that goes around the park, a miniature steam locomotive and a trolley train, making this park popular among both children and railroad fans alike.

Just a great place to visit. Come early and see a lot. Best days are with clear weather. Due to COVID-19, the visitors has reduced.

"This art museum is located in a prefectural park in Gunma Prefecture, next to the Gunma no Mori bus stop, accessible by the City loop bus from the JR Takasaki Station. It contains around 2,000 pieces of diverse modern art, ranging from Japanese works, such as Sotaro Yasui's ""Ashi wo arau onna"" and foreign artists such as Claude Monet's ""Water Lilies"". This is the only research and exhibition facility in Japan which specializes in snakes. It is located approximately 10 minutes' walk from the Tobu Kiryu Line's Yabuzuka Station. Its main purpose is the research and uses of venomous snakes, and in the Venomous Snake Terrarium, visitors can see King Cobras, Rattlesnakes and other snakes from around the world. In the Orochi Terrarium, large snakes such as the yellow anaconda and alligator snapping turtles are on display. Viper venom extraction demonstrations are held on weekends and national holidays in the Antivenom Room.

大きなバラ園ですが、無料で入場出来るのが嬉しいです。敷地内に蚕糸記念館があって、私が訪れた時にはイベントがあって、無料で座繰体験や、繭玉クラフト体験に参加できたのも良かったです。

This prefectural astronomical observatory is located in Nakayama, Takayama Village, Agatsuma County, Gunma Prefecture. Its construction was planned in commemoration of Chiaki Mukai, the first Japanese female astronaut going to space, and was opened in 1999. It is equipped with a 150-centimeter telescope and a 65-centimeter telescope. Events such as telescope lessons and star guidance qualification courses are regularly held here. There are also exhibition spaces for things such as viewing solar telescope images and observational data, in addition to a shop which sells space food and illustrated reference books.

A museum in Nakanojo-machi, Nakanojo Town, Agatsuma County. The museum is located within the former Agatsuma Dai-san Elementary School which was built in 1885 and has been designated as an Important Cultural Property of the Prefecture. On display are historical materials and information on local folk customs related to Nakanojo covering the span from primitive times, through the middle ages and Edo period, all the way up until the Showa period. Alongside the permanent exhibits the museum also holds special exhibitions, lectures, and history courses.

The Kataoka Tsurutaro Art Museum, opened in 1998, is a gallery attached to Kusatsu Hotel which can be enjoyed by families. It boasts about 120 permanent exhibits and the exhibition changes four times a year according to the season. Visitors can see the Sainokawara hot spring steam from the large window of the café at the museum, great for relaxing after appreciating the artworks. The café is also open for non-museum patrons.

The art museum's building was a posthumous design by architect Junzo Yoshimura.

"This art museum is located 8 minutes by foot from the Jomo Line's Nishi-Kiryu Station, or alternatively, 10 minutes by taxi from Shin-Kiryu Station. The museum displays works collected by Eiji Okawa, a local of Kiryu City. Visitors can appreciate a variety of paintings, mainly consisting of works of art from the Meiji and Taisho periods, and including Eisaku Wada's landscape painting ""Matsushima Godaido"" and Takeji Fujishima's ""Mosha"". There are also a great number of Shunsuke Matsumoto's works and materials, which were the first works to be included in this collection. The museum aims to be a place where ""you can see the masterpieces you want to see, whenever you want to see them"", and as such, has sofas positioned in each of the exhibition rooms. It is designed so that visitors can take their time."

ひっそりとしていて長閑ですが、バラエティに富んだ作品があり刺激になりました。駐車場も近くにあり、小高い場所にあるので急な坂道を通りますが、木漏れ日が良かったです。一人では多分心細いと思いますが、親しい友達と行くには良い美術館と思います。喫茶室がお休みでした。
