Located in the Takachiho Gamadase Market, the facility consists of a restaurant, tourist information center, and farmers market. ""Gamadase"" means ""to work spiritedly"" in the local dialect. The market's wide selection includes farm-fresh produce from Takachiho, and foods made with Takachiho specialty products. The carefully written recipes were created by the staff to help people learn local ways of preparing these vegetables."

A direct sales store and restaurant in Furue, Nobeoka City. Beginning with fresh seafood from Kitaura, they sell fishery products and local products at direct sale prices. In the restaurant, in addition to a la carte menu such as set meals and the rice bowls using the bounty of the sea , the seafood buffet with sashimi and sushi is popular.

An unmissable highlight of Kyushu, Miyazaki prefecture satisfies nature lovers with its dramatic gorges cut out of rugged cliffs, leading into waterfalls and beaches of green-blue water popular among surfers. Takachiho Gorge in the north of the prefecture tells a tale of centuries-old Japanese mythology in a fantastic setting, allowing visitors to explore the waters by boat before heading up to the cave at the Awano Iwato Shrine, where the sun goddess was said to have hidden, plunging the world into darkness.
