    Kyoto Funai-gun Kyotanbacho Sakabara
This sweets shop in Kyotamba Town, an area in the center of Kyoto Prefecture known for producing Tamba-Dainagon red beans and Tanba black soybeans. They have long created simple treats in this patisserie atelier surrounded by the lush mountains and ayu sweetfish-filled Yura river. Their flagship product is a Vanilla Creampuff, featuring fresh-baked pastries filled with custard cream made from organic Madagascar vanilla beans. They're popular for their natural, mellow sweetness that refreshes body and soul. The attached cafe offers a full lunch menu made with organic vegetables, as well.

    Kyoto Nantan-shi Miyamacho
This cafe and gallery is connected to an herb garden displaying several hundred different herbs. This log-house style shop is filled with the scent of herbs, and they offer their own blended herb tea, organic coffee, and seasonal cakes. Everything here, from the building to the tables and chairs, are hand-crafted to create an artisan atmosphere. The tree terrace offers a taste of the outdoors, and there are tea-tables in the herb garden for those who would like a relaxing open-air treat.

Lovely space. Nice views. Delicious coffee. A wonderful personality owner. I will also visit.Thank you very much!

Kyoto Areas

around-area-map

Its wooden tea houses, shuffling geisha, and spiritual sights have seen Kyoto hailed as the heart of traditional Japan, a world apart from ultramodern Tokyo. Despite being the Japanese capital for over a century, Kyoto escaped destruction during World War II, leaving behind a fascinating history which can be felt at every turn, from the fully gold-plated Kinkakuji Temple down to traditional customs such as geisha performances and tea ceremonies, which are still practiced to this day.
