This is a café and gallery near Kifune Shrine accessible from Kifuneguchi Station on the Kurama line of the Eizan Electric Railway by Kyoto Bus. It is also a main store for cosmetic brands from Kyoto. The store stocks Kifune Power Stones (for healing and energy) and works of local artists, as well as a café space with windows overlooking the Kifune River, and counter seats and floor seats that allow you to enjoy the outside scenery. In the chic and calm atmosphere, sundries and ceramics are exhibited and sold, and visitors can relax, enjoying coffee served in pottery cups and cake sets.

    Kyoto Kyoutoshi Sakyou-ku Iwakurahataedachou 81-1

Kyoto Areas

around-area-map

Its wooden tea houses, shuffling geisha, and spiritual sights have seen Kyoto hailed as the heart of traditional Japan, a world apart from ultramodern Tokyo. Despite being the Japanese capital for over a century, Kyoto escaped destruction during World War II, leaving behind a fascinating history which can be felt at every turn, from the fully gold-plated Kinkakuji Temple down to traditional customs such as geisha performances and tea ceremonies, which are still practiced to this day.
