    "This Shinto shrine on the Nagareyama Highway in the Noda section of Noda City was founded in 923. Its god is worshiped for fire prevention, and local people familiarly refer to it as ""Atago-sama."" The current shrine dates from 1824, and the main hall features carvings by the Edo Period master carpenter Ishihara Tsunehachi II. It's been designated a prefectural Tangible Cultural Property."

    This Shinto shrine is located in Shimone, Kimagase, Noda City. It honors the deity Futsunushi-no-Kami. Three mythical shishi perform the lion dance here, and they have a precious ancient manuscript called the Kenpo Hidensho. At their annual fall festival on November 23 they hold lion dancing and boken wooden sword ceremonies, which have been designated Intangible Folk Cultural Properties by the city.

    Akagi-jinja Shrine, which is connected to legends about place names in Nagareyama, is located at the top of Mt. Akagi, 15 meters above sea level. The shimenawa (sacred rope) inside the precincts is massive: 10 meters long and 1.5 meters thick, weighing about 500 kg. Each year in October the parishioners of the shrine braid a new shimenawa, and this custom has been designated a City Intangible Folk Cultural Property.

    Isumi-jinja Shrine harbors the local guardian deities of Otaki castle town. It’s dedicated to the Shinto gods Susanoo-no-mikoto, Inadahime-no-mikoto, and Oonamuchi-no-mikoto, and is said to be a good place for matchmaking. In addition, following the Rokusaiichi tradition, a morning market is held on days with a 5 and 0 in them.

    The shrine was built in 986 and has long been worshipped as a guardian deity of fishermen and fishing boats that enter and leave the mouth of the Tone River. The shrine is located on a hill surrounded by greenery at the mouth of the Tone River and offers an attractive view of the river.

    千葉寺十善講八十八所６番。登渡神社の駐車場に大師堂あり。「白蛇山 真光院 大師堂」との事。駐車場は国道から坂を上がって、神社を通り越して左折した先（左側）にあり。思ったより小さかった。長時間とめられそうに無かったので、（お堂にお参りできたので）お参りして、神社はまたの機会にした。

    1月の初旬に訪れました。12世紀の創建、イザナギとイザナミを祀る神社です。神の夫婦を祀っていることから縁結びの神社として知られているとのこと、お正月シーズンだけかもしれませんが夜のライトアップが綺麗でした。

    駐車場が本堂裏にあり、いったん境内の一部を通過するのでちょっと驚きました。 それはさておき、朱塗本堂と銀杏が似合いますね。 放生池や鳥居の額の彫刻などの見所もあります。

    山の斜面にありますが、車で行けばすぐ着きます。 神社につく直前の場所から東京湾を眺める景色がきれいです。神社はとても小さいです。

    浦安駅から徒歩10分弱。 1196年創建。祭神は大綿津見神。浦安三社の一社。鳥居は2012年建立。拝殿は1896年築で木造銅板葺き。覆屋の下にある本殿は1855年築で木造銅板葺き。市指定有形文化財。上総国から買い求めたケヤキの大木1本で造営されたもので、壁に施された細かな彫刻や幾重にも重なった斗栱が見事である。

    千葉厄除け不動尊の中にある神社なので、厄除けと縁結びの両方が一度に叶います。縁結び大社のほうは、いくつかお社があり、順番に廻る必要があります。なんとなく全てきちんとお作法通りに廻らなければという気持ちになってしまうので、お賽銭は大目に持っていくと良いでしょう。縁結びの御守りはネットでも話題らしく、郵送もしてくれるとのことです。

    佐原の大祭とは東の八坂神社の夏祭りと西の諏訪神社の秋祭りの総称だそうで、その意味では佐原を代表する二つの神社の一つだ。伝統的な街並みから少し離れているので、佐原駅へ戻る時に迂回する感じになる。かなりの急階段を登るので、覚悟が必要。

    ここの参道は舗装されておらず、土がむきだしで、所々に木の根っこなどが出ていました。周囲は高い木々。空気が新鮮で歩いていて気持ち良かったです。

    久しぶりの再訪です。境内は広く、いろんな木が植えられています。今の季節は、ツツジが満開でした。ツツジといっても、多分違うタイプのツツジのように思えました。
