Located along the bypass about a five-minute drive from Aizu-Bange Station, it sells genuine rice made with the blessings of nature and a high level of commitment. An early rice ""Mizuho Kogane,"" harvested in late August, is a mutant strain of Hitomebore rice. It is the earliest rice harvested in the year in Aizu, where the temperature difference between day and night is so great that it is said to be ideal for rice cultivation. It is sold in limited quantities and for a limited time because it is only grown by contract farmers. The ""ABK Koshihikari"" from Aizu-Bange Town, which is cultivated with particular attention paid to soil preparation, and the chewy ""Milky Queen"" are also popular varieties."

It has continued to produce such products as Kintakasago Soy Sauce and Tsurugajo Miso, which are indispensable to the dining tables of Aizu to this day. Their signature product Kintakasago Soy Sauce is a popular product that has won the highest Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award at the National Soy Sauce Evaluation Competition. Tsurugajo Miso, which uses a lot of rice malt made from domestic Japanese rice, is characterized by its pale color and slightly sweet taste. Nishin Sansho-zuke, made with dried herring processed in Hokkaido and marinated in a secret sauce, and additive-free fresh shichimi seven spice mix, also make great gifts.

Clippings from magazines featuring the brewery and hand-drawn pop-ups are displayed throughout the store, demonstrating the store's overflowing love of sake.

    週末限定ですが店先でみたらし団子が売っており、甘い物がふと欲しくなり入ってみました。店横には小さいベンチもあるので座って小休憩を取ることも可能。店内は美味しそうな和菓子が並んでおり、気になったら買ってみるのも悪くないかもしれません。

The brown sugar buns, which are made with brown sugar and wrapped in lightly sweetened smooth red bean paste made from carefully selected azuki beans, have the same nostalgic taste as in the past. These manju buns are served to guests at the nearby long-established inn Marumine as a snack to have with tea. The bright, blue-tinted interior has a cafe corner inside the store, and many tourists stop by on their way to explore the hot spring resort.

    大町通りを散策していると赤漆喰(?)の外壁が目を引く歴史を感じさせる佇まいの建物があります。この建物が創業200年の会津の老舗菓子店「伊勢屋製菓」です。白虎隊も食べたといわれている「元祖伊勢屋椿餅」がお勧めです。和クルミをふんだんに使ったういろうのような食感の醤油味の菓子です。

There is a free coffee corner that is perfect as a meeting spot or taking a break from walking around town. Their ""Aizu no Tenjin-sama"" (Gods of Aizu) is a combination of fluffy and sweet bouchee dough and salty Hokkaido butter, and it is a popular product that was created for the opening in 1979. Seasonal flavors such as strawberry, Matcha green tea and blueberry are also popular."

Nearly 100 stalls are lined up along Setomachi-dori Street, the town's main street, offering Aizu-hongo ware, lacquerware, locally grown agricultural goods, and more. The festival dates back to the late Meiji period when the disciples of the Aizu-hongo Pottery studios sold their wares on the road as souvenir for people worshipping the annual festival at Hachiyoji Temple in Aizuwakamatsu City. The event, with people gathering the early morning to buy functional and beautiful potteries just as they were in the past, has become popular as the summer tradition in Aizu.
