Created based on the idea that ""simple is best,"" the cake consists of rich whipped cream mixed with a touch of custard and wrapped in a carefully air-fluffed sponge cake.     This Japanese-style confectionery is about eight minutes on foot from JR Fukuchiyama Line's Kaibara Station. The renovated thatched roof shop is housed in the former residence of an Oda clan vassal that was built over 150 years ago. Their cafe offers cake, pastries, and meals featuring local Tamba ingredients, and has a prominent wood-fired oven. The popular lunch set comes with a juicy roasted meat dish, and a roti or a pizza of your choice. Their Tamba Satoyama Pudding made with locally produced eggs and milk comes recommended.

    Established in 1892, this Japanese confectionery shop is thoroughly dedicated to all things Tamba, making use of a variety of the area's famous ingredients, like chestnuts, Tambaguro black soybeans and dainagon adzuki beans. The store sells sweets such as boxes of Mont Blanc filled to the brim with rich Tamba chestnut paste, Tanshin Baumkuchen cakes made with Koshihikari rice flour, Tanba choux and chestnut dorayaki. In the cafe space, you will also find a special menu filled with items that can only be tasted here.

    This black soybean wholesaler was established in 1734. Since it first opened, the company has carried Tamba black soybeans and Tamba dainagon azuki beans carefully chosen by experienced masters, as well as cooked black soybeans, shiborimame (lightly sugared beans), and a variety of other processed foods. This longstanding company's high-class Odagaki brand beans came into being in the olden days during a time when rice cultivation was being promoted, and were made with high quality black soybeans grown on just a few farms and hand-picked. The company's historic shop sells Tanba black soybeans, Tanba dainagon azuki beans, and shiborimame, and the building, along with an adjoining residence, kura storehouse, and high wall have been designated a National Tangible Cultural Property.

The black soybean bread made using specially-produced Tanba-Sasayama black soybeans, is a must-try. The slow-roasted beans and the dough, developed especially for the beans, create a bread that allows for full appreciation of the black soybeans.

    This is a boulangerie in Goko-dori, Chuo Ward, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, produced by the chef of a French restaurant. Focusing mainly on hard breads, they also have fluffy rectangular bread, side-dish bread, sandwiches, cakes and a variety of other original offerings. In the joint cafe one can eat the bread or cake bought at the boulangerie, or order from the food menu which includes hamburgers and sandwiches.

    アルバイトスタッフの出入りが激しい。まともなスタッフ教育もしない状態で客を選ぶ社員がおり挨拶もしない。総じてアルバイト、社員に限らずスタッフによって接客レベルや商品知識の差があり食べ終わっても、ずっと話し込んでいるマナーの悪い客にも注意もしないので混雑する時間帯は長時間待たされる覚悟が必要。そういう不当な扱いを受けることもあって利用を控えるようになりました。

    This venerable Japanese confectionary shop established in 1882 can be easily identified by its large watchtower-like sign. It continues to create healthy traditional Japanese sweets that never wear out their welcome. Their flagship Toyosuke Manju steamed buns feature a simple Kyoto-style strained bean paste filling inside of an extra-thin pastry covering. The confection first came to prominence after becoming popular with the hot spring cure-seekers who visited Ogo, which prospered as a post town on a byroad of the Saigoku Kaido Highway. The shop makes the manju several times per day out of a desire to hand customers the freshest product possible. Customers can enjoy freshly-made manju together with complementary tea inside the shop's rest space.

Behind the bar is bread being sold by store clerks, and it comes in a several varieties, such as sweet bread, hard breads, and more. You can enjoy your selection in the courtyard.

    とにかく美味しい！オレンジの食パンはそのままでも食べれるくらい柔らかくてとりあえず美味しい。豆のパンも少しだけトーストして食べたらサクサクでした。これは他の種類も食べたい！！と思うようなパンばかりだったのでリピーターになりますね。
