    This Western-style sweet shop in Hojo, Tateyama City makes cake and pastries with carefully selected ingredients. They have lots of items that are as popular as gifts as they are for eating at home, like their Cochin Roll, a dessert made with eggs from locally raised Cochin hens, and their Shio-no-Hana, souffle cake with a cream cheese filling.

    雑誌に載っていたのでわくわくしながらいきましたがタイミングが悪かったようでもたもたした感じがありました お店の前の駐車場も残念ながら止めにくかったです 近くの本屋さんが広い駐車場なのでそちらに置いて歩いて行きました カフェテリアはとても狭くてゆっくりできませんでした

    This shop in Sawara, Katori City specializes in tsukudani, preserved food boiled in soy sauce. Originally an Edo period soy sauce merchant, today they manufacture and sell tsukudani made from an additive free sauce with a honjozo (pure brew) soy sauce base. Popular items include their Ikada-yaki with skewered, lightly roasted wakasagi smelt and tender Yaki-hama, or roast clam.

    This cake shop is on Prefectural Route 174 in Ichinokawa, Katsuura City. Their Camembert Cheesecake was awarded the Chairman's Prize at the National Confectionery Exposition. They also sell seasonal cakes, baked sweets, standard items, and more. It has a cafe area as well if you'd like to eat on the premises. It's a popular out-of-the-way shop in the mountains en-route from Onjuku to Otaki.

    奥まったところにあるケーキ屋さんでアクセスは大変ですが、2年ぶりに再訪しました。イートインもできます。店内の飾りは、恐竜やらウルトラ怪獣やらディズニー人形やら、かなり独創的です。子供たちは喜んでいましたが。 ケーキはおいしいですよ。わざわざここまで食べに行く価値があります。

    This sake museum is on National Route 465. You can observe their facilities from the viewing area, as well as taste about 20 kinds of refined sake from the Koizumi Brewery, known for its fine Tokaizakari brew. The museum area displays daily items and sake brewing equipment dating from the Edo period. The gift shop offers limited availability brews and sweets made with sake, and there is also a tea room that offers Daiginjo sake soft serve ice cream.

    This bakery is near the southern end of Kujukuri Beach. They sell bread, sweet buns, bagels, and more baked fresh every morning, with varieties that change weekly. Their natural yeast bread and fresh sandwiches with home-made fillings are popular too. Sometimes they close around noon when the bread sells out. They don't have a sit-down eating area.

    Moriya Shuzo is a sake brewery that was founded in 1893. Its main products are Maizakura sake, made with 100% Chiba-grown rice, and Morimasa rice shochu (distilled liquor). Tours of the brewery are offered (by reservation only), and visitors can taste the brewery's products free of charge and buy some to take home in the adjacent shop. With a spacious parking lot, the brewery can handle large tour buses. It welcomes about 100,000 visitors per year.

    Sakekasu Shizen Kobo Fukuchan no Pan is a bakery located along the Tone Suigo Line Highway in Kozaki Honshuku in the town of Kozaki in Katori County. It makes bread dough using natural leavening derived from the sake lees that result from the sake brewing process at Terada Honke, a brewery located in Kozaki Town. It also makes and sells soy milk bread, made with soy milk from the tofu shop Tsuki no Tofu, also located in Kozaki Town.

    Shinshogetsu is a Japanese and Western-style confectionary located along Prefectural Highway 24 in Goi in the city of Ichihara. Its wares include such famous items as Junkin Kuroshio Monaka, thin crispy mochi wafers with pure gold leaf filled with adzuki bean paste, and Chiba Musume Tamaguri, along with Yokan (bean paste gelatin) as well as western confectionery including cake and other baked goods. They are great for eating at home or to buy as souvenirs or gifts.

    Ishigama Pan Koubo Saffron makes and sells bread made with Tanzawa leavening French bread starter and stone-ground whole grain flour and baked in a stone oven. It also sells seasonally limited varieties of bread, such as Shin Matsudo Tsubu-iri Anpan, made with coarsely ground azuki beans of Mt. Yotei in Hokkaido, and Kurogome Shokupan, which has black rice kneaded into the dough, along with sandwiches. An eat-in corner on the premises allows customers to enjoy freshly baked bread.

    Located along the approach to Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, Kawamura Saheiji Shop specializes in Japanese-style pickles. Its Teppo Fudozuke, named after Fudo Myo-o, the guardian deity of Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, and made from melons and cucumbers grown by a local farmer under contract. The shop also sells pickles with burdock root, mountain burdock root, and pickles with red pepper wrapped in shiso leaves, as well as Narazuke (vegetables pickled in sake dregs) and Kinzanji Miso.

    Funabashi Regional Wholesale Market is located a 15-minute walk from both JR Funabashi Station and Keisei Funabashi Station. It contains shops that sell seafood, but also shops that sell fruits and vegetables, packaged meat, and processed foods, along with restaurants and bars. Many events are held here, including a market tour that the visitors can enter a -50°C freezer building, cooking classes, and open market.

    "Choshi Yamaju is a specialty shop manufactures and sells Hishio, a semi-solid forerunner of soy sauce. A malt made from soybeans and barley is matured to create this fermented condiment, which is sometimes called ""solid soy sauce."" Choshi Yamaju also makes a spicy Chinese condiment, La Jiang Jiang, which has Hishio as a base. In addition to Gensho, the liquid that is produced when fermenting Hishio, the shop also sells soy sauce and miso."
