This sake store carries a selection of sake from all over Japan, including some of the best in Aizu. Located in a corner of the York-Benimaru's Ikkimachi Branch, a supermarket close to the Otsukayama-kofum Tumulus, the store has a large selection of traditional and seasonal sake. The owner proudly states that he does not follow trends, but only collects what he considers to be really good sake. Clippings from magazines featuring the brewery and hand-drawn pop-ups are displayed throughout the store, demonstrating the store's overflowing love of sake.

    Fukushima Aizuwakamatsu-shi Uwamachi 5-26
"This sake brewery was established in 1877. In the Aizu region, surrounded by mountains and rich in nature, it continues to brew sake with care, avoiding mass production and mass sales. The water used for brewing is said to determine the taste, and they use natural spring water from the foot of Mt. Bandai and Mt. Iide, and clean well water from beneath the brewery. The rice used to make their sake, ""Kyo no Hana,"" is grown by local farmers. Many people enjoy their Honzojo Zuiho Tatsuizumi, which boasts a refreshing aftertaste, as a mid-meal drink."
