- This cafe is almost directly between Kiritappu City and Biwase Observation Platform on Hokkaido route 123. It only runs from October through May, during the cold winter season. The shop interior is filled with the warmth of wood, and the high ceilings give it a spacious feeling. They sell handmade cakes and baked goods. The shop's most popular menu is the simple, and beautiful, Tancho Shortcake. Its gentle sweetness is the perfect match to coffee's bitterness, and it's the owner's mark of pride. In summer, the Wetland Center sometimes sells their baked goods.

- A homemade ice cream shop. Focusing on the concept of simple is best, Cream Dowa uses top quality ingredients. The shop's selection primarily consists of various gelatos made with plenty of raw milk. The three most popular flavors are the sweet-smelling vanilla, milk, and matcha green tea. The light pink sakuramochi gelato took the gold prize in the Foodex Japan 2012 local ice cream grand prix. You can enjoy your ice cream served on a cone or in a cup and the shop also ships in the local area.

- This farm restaurant is on the top of a hill in Tsurui with a wonderful view. You can see a peaceful view of the countryside from the charming store window. Sticking mostly to homemade items, they use plenty of cheese made at the adjoining cheese factory, everything collected from the restaurant fields, the Hishinuma Farm's Shiawase (happy) Milk, and local products from Tsurui Village. All of the menu items are colorfully vivid. One classic dish is the Milk Curry that comes with fresh salad and handmade naan. The generously used spices and the milk are exquisite. In addition, the pizza made from the crust and the Cabbage Chiffon Cake are also recommended.

スターバックスコーヒー釧路鶴見橋店は、釧路市中心部を流れる新釧路川に架かる鶴見橋のたもとにあります。 ２階には川に面してテラス席があります。今回私たちが訪れたのは２月。寒さ厳しい釧路では、屋外は日中でも氷点下の日が珍しくありません。ですから、今回も、室内の席にしました。本当はテラス席でまったりしてみたいんですが、それができるのは夏場だけです。次は暖かい日に来て、テラス席でまったりしたいです。

イオン釧路店の一階、北西側の出入り口近くに、スターバックスができました。この店が、日本最東端のスタバなんです。 イオンに入っているので、買い物の途中や、買い物後の休憩に最適です。
