The public Yatsugatake Ranch is located along the Yatsugatake Kogen Line in Nishiide, Oizumi Town, and this park was created in one section of it. You can see goats and other animals grazing in the pasture, as well as enjoy specialty products made in the prefecture at the restaurant. There’s also a tent selling agricultural products, as well as mountain crop classes and carpentry classes offered at the community hall. An event called the “Makiba Walk” has participants do a circuit around the whole ranch.

To be honest Makiba Park is not really a park but a pull-off rest area from the road connecting Kobuchizawa down in the valley (with its highway exit and train terminal) with the local resort area...

Visitors can also try riding Segway and play tennis, futsal, or other sports. Park-goers can also enjoy stroking the seasonal flowers while walking along the park's Mizu no Promenade or its Mizube no Boardwalk. Theater Hibiki, an amphitheater with room for 8,000 people in the center of the park, can be used to hold a variety of events from sporting competitions to concerts.

The park features a bird-watching room with telescopes, Jukai Gallery with full facilities like material exhibits, and well-maintained strolling paths. And there are feeders along the way, so with a bit of luck, you may be able to observe some wild birds up close.

We really enjoyed walking in this forest. Its very lush and the vegetation truly is a beautiful sight. We heard two birds and saw a pigeon, so we didnt see a lot of birds though. Could be the wrong...

This 40,000 square-meter park is located about 10 minutes from Ichinomiya-Misaka Interchange or Fuefuki-Yatsushiro Interchange on the Chuo Expressway. Surrounded by peach orchards, the park's main attraction is the central Kagami Pond, which has an island in the middle. Other attractions include a grassy square, a playground, walking paths, and more. Visitors can feed the carp at Kagami Pond or play in the water in the summer at the Shinsui Hiroba and Jabujabu Pond, an activity that is especially popular with children. Visitors can also enjoy a sweeping view of the southern Alps and the Kofu Basin from the Heisei no To, the park's symbol. This view is particularly enjoyable when the area is covered with peach blossoms in early April.

This scenically beautiful park spreads across the side of Mt. Oboshi in the southwestern tip of Kofu Basin. It offers a view of Mt. Fuji and the Fuji River, the Kofu Basin, the Yatsugatake Mountains, and beyond. The park's more than 2,000 cherry blossom trees, including Sato-zakura cherry and weeping cherries, earned it a spot on the Japan Cherry Blossom Association's list of the country's 100 best cherry blossom viewing spots. The park holds the Oboshi Sakura Festival during the annual bloom season that is attended by large crowds of people.

桜満開の時期に訪問しました。お祭りが開催されていて、期間中は駐車場が500円となっていました。県外から桜観光に来て、山梨県内の桜の名所をかなり回りましたが、ここが1番良かったです。山の斜面に桜の木々が植えてあるので、絵面がいい景色なります。山上では、出店があり、たくさんの花見客が桜を満喫していました。

The vast lot of Mizugaki Natural Park features a campsite for climbers headed for Mt. Mizugaki, and its administration building comes complete with a restaurant, a shop that sells local agricultural products, and a training room for utilizing agricultural products. The three to five-meter boulders scattered around the forest are popular with rock climbers and people who enjoy bouldering. In autumn, you can enjoy views of Mt. Mizugaki along with the fall leaves decorating its base.

小淵沢方面からは少し遠いですが、落ち着いた公園でした。ダム湖には周りの紅葉した山々や橋の景色が映り込んで、綺麗でした。

This is a forest park in Yamanashi Prefecture. Originally established as a flood embankment of the Kane River, the park is divided into six areas that are habitats for many flora and fauna. In the Donguri Woods, there is a 50-meter long roller slide and a water-play area for children to play to their hearts’ content. The sports forest has a putt golf course and rental bicycles on which the park can be explored. There is a dog run in the Komorebi Forest, and so many cherry trees have been planted in the Sakura Woods that when seen from the observatory their blossoms blanket the area like a carpet.

平日の昼間に行きました。人はあまり多くなかったです。犬との散歩に最適です。川を挟んで、2か所に分かれています。とても広いです。ちなみに桔梗屋アウトレットの近くです。

This park built on the north shore of Lake Yamanaka features a view of magnificent Mt. Fuji across the lake. With nothing obscuring the view, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Fuji, including to the Sakasa Fuji (upside down Fuji) that occurs when Mt. Fuji is reflected in the lake's surface. From mid-November to early February in particular, many people visit the park to see the Double Diamond Fuji created when the sun sets over the Sakasa Fuji and the real Mt. Fuji.

This park is along the Kiyosato Line (National Route 141) in Nagasawa, Takane Town. It is filled with seasonal blossoms, and you’ll find an orchard, a vegetable garden, a pizza oven, and more. You can experience pressed flower crafting, pizza-making in a brick oven, cherry picking, summer vegetable picking, and other seasonal activities. You can also rent toys free of charge to use in the lawn play area.

道の駅に直結した公園で、往復400円のリフトで登れます。リフトは新しく快適です。100メートル上からは下の駐車場の車がミニカーのように見えます。公園自体はそれほど大きくありませんが、お花の工作体験や野菜の収穫体験等いろいろなアクティビティがあります。

This park is located about a ten-minute drive from Yamanakako Interchange and just next to the Bungaku no Mori Koen-mae bus stop. Just as names suggests, the more than 86,000 square-meter park features a number of literature-themed facilities including the Mishima Yukio Literary Museum and the Tokutomi Soho Memorial Museum. Other attractions include open spaces, a pond, and the Kakurenbo Hiroba. The latter of these is notable for play equipment made from a more than 50 year-old Japanese larch as well as fun installations that use the senses of sight and sound such as the Doppelganger Mirrors and the Sound Telescope. The park's walking paths allow parkgoers to enjoy nature at a leisurely pace including seeing a diversity of plants and wild birds. The park is also dotted with monuments bearing classic Japanese poetry.

A park on top of a hill overlooking Otsuki City, Katsuragawa Wellness Park is divided into three zones, west, central, and east, which each feature their own special facilities. This park is located in Ueno, Ichikawamisato Town, Nishiyatsushiro County, a place associated with the noted kabuki actor Ichikawa Danjuro I. Its facilities include a multipurpose hall that can accommodate more than 400 people, a culture museum, the Fureai Hiroba plaza, and the Ikoi no Mori rest area. The park also has a playground with play equipment featuring kabuki-inspired designs. The park is famous for the nearly 2,000 tree peonies representing some 100 varieties that bloom in late April each year.
