A park on top of a hill overlooking Otsuki City, Katsuragawa Wellness Park is divided into three zones, west, central, and east, which each feature their own special facilities. The central zone has an agricultural training garden, and an exhibition hall in which you can experience agriculture and the life in Satoyama, long operated by Koshu. It also has events every season. The east zone has a picnic area where you can barbeque.

    遊具が揃った公園、楽しめます。山の上にあるのでクルマがないとちょっと移動が大変かも。ファミリー向けです。

During the hydrangea season, visitors at this park can enjoy viewing the many hydrangeas along its promenade. The roughly 200 meter-long promenade leads to Saru Bridge, known as one of Japan's three most famous unusual bridges. The park also features an area near the Katsura River that flows through the northern part of the park where visitors can enjoy barbequing and other activities. Part of the park is home to the municipally-operated Otsuki City Local Material Museum. The museum features exhibits on the history and natural environment of Otsuki City, including the 12 Views of Beautiful Fuji.

Yamanashi Areas

around-area-map

Yamanashi prefecture is the proud home of one of Japan’s most celebrated icons: Mount Fuji. Although the mountain straddles both Yamanashi and Shizuoka, the most breathtaking views of Fuji-san can be seen from the Fuji Five Lakes north of the mountain in Yamanashi prefecture. The plethora of outdoor activities in and around the lakes all have the benefit of the country’s highest mountain as their backdrop, and we can assure you that it is an unforgettable sight.
