    This amusement park is located near Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi. The park's most popular attractions are its many large thrill rides including FUJIYAMA, a roller coast boasting a maximum height of 79 meters. The park is also famous for being the home of a number of newsworthy attractions including the Super Scary Labyrinth of Fear, the world's longest and scariest haunted house, as well as Thomas Land, an outdoor Thomas the Tank Engine theme park. The nearest station to the park is Fuji-Q Highland station on the Fujikyuko Line.

    Fujiten Snow Resort is a ski resort in a great location where you can enjoy skiing and snowboarding while taking in the views of Mt. Fuji. There are a variety of slopes aimed at children beginners and slopes for more advanced skiers. All equipment can be rented at the resort. Outside of winter you can enjoy mountain biking grass skiing sledding and more. In October 2009 the snow resort was selected as ‘a sacred place for lovers’ as it’s one of the best places to propose marriage to a loved one. Events on love life and marriage are held here from time to time.

    My kids really wanted to have fun in snow/ski and Fujiten resort was a good option for us despite most of the snow being man-made at this time of the year. We stayed a few days in Fujikawaguchiko...

Visitors can also watch tests on the Yamanashi maglev test line or check out models and exhibits that introduce SCMaglev technology and the Chuo Shinkansen. The adjacent Waku-waku Yamanashi-kan features an area with tourist information on Yamanashi Prefecture on its second floor, while its first flour features a shop that offers local products.

    A theme park attached to Fuji-Q Highland Park right next to the Kawaguchiko Interchange on the Chuo Expressway. The theme park is centered around the English children's television show, Thomas the Tank Engine. There are a variety of rides to enjoy including Thomas's Treasure Adventure, an indoor ride where you'll ride a train around Sodor Island, the setting of the tale, searching for treasures, and Rock'n'Roll Duncan, where even kids as young as three years old can ride Duncan on the mountain railway line.

    It’s a best place for Thomas fans kids to spend a few hours here. However, the area of the Thomas land is quite small and not much variety of games. The price of each game is overpriced, ¥400-¥500...

The central zone has an agricultural training garden, and an exhibition hall in which you can experience agriculture and the life in Satoyama, long operated by Koshu. It also has events every season. The east zone has a picnic area where you can barbeque.

    大人数向けのコテージに宿泊しました。部屋広くて清潔でした。 コテージの隣にはツリーハウスなどもあり子供も喜んでいました。 11月のもう寒い時期の宿泊でしたが、灯油ストーブが用意してあり助かりました。 欲を言えば、室内のシャワーはお湯が出るのでキッチンのシンクでもお湯がでるようにしてあるとよいかと思います。
