    A park rich in nature, surrounded by the Aokigahara sea of trees, it is home to many types of wild birds like buntings, varied tits, and Japanese white-eyes. The park features a bird-watching room with telescopes, Jukai Gallery with full facilities like material exhibits, and well-maintained strolling paths. And there are feeders along the way, so with a bit of luck, you may be able to observe some wild birds up close.

    We really enjoyed walking in this forest. Its very lush and the vegetation truly is a beautiful sight. We heard two birds and saw a pigeon, so we didnt see a lot of birds though. Could be the wrong...

    Kawaguchiko Tenjoyama Park features 100,000 hydrangeas-which peak around July to August-on the side of Mt. Tenjo, as well as great views of Mt. Fuji at the ropeway exit. There are also hiking courses, so you can climb while taking in the hydrangeas and fall leaves. Said to be the location for the old tale Kachi-kachi Yama, it is also referred to as Kachi-kachi Yama.

    The main stage for winter's famous Kawaguchiko Winter Fireworks, Oike Park is a park with beautifully arrayed poplar trees spreading along the east side of Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge. There are well-kept walking paths, so you can enjoy a walk along the water too. There is illumination every year from late December to late February.
