    This nature park located about 45 minutes from Masuho Interchange on the Chubu-Odan Expressway is inhabited by a wide variety of flora and fauna. This includes the endangered mountain hawk-eagle and more than 100 other species of bird over the course of a year. The visitor's center is staffed with expert guides who will facilitate your encounter with nature through eco-tours, nature experiences, and other activities. The park offers a variety of programs throughout the year such as nature craft classes where participants make items such as wild bird feather phone straps, birdwatching, and night hikes. Visitors can also stay overnight at the park's cabins or camping sites.

    This athletic park intended as a place for building healthy bodies is widely beloved by the local populace. It features a baseball stadium, an athletic field, tennis courts, a gymnasium, and indoor pool, and more. It is frequently the venue for prefectural tournaments and other events. The park also includes facilities for training camps, especially during summer vacation. These facilities are available to the open public, but require reservations three months in advance. The other facilities require a reservation one month in advance.

    This quiet green space park on the shore of Lake Yamanaka is well-known as for its flowers and its autumn foliage. It is home to flowering trees such as hydrangea and Fuji cherry blossoms, as well as many deciduous trees including zelkova and maple. The park features a promenade where visitors can enjoy taking a walk while viewing the beautiful nature. Each year during the autumn foliage season, the park holds the Yuyake no Nagisa (sunset beach) autumn foliage festival.

    This park is located along Karisaka Road in Manriki, Yamanashi City. It features a variety of facilities including the Fureai Dobutsu Hiroba, which raises small animals such as goats and deer, open spaces, a roller skating rink, and walking courses. The vast park stretches along the Fuefuki River from north to south. Many plants depicted in the Manyoshu, the oldest collection of Japanese poetry, including pine trees, plum trees, red spider lilies, and violets grow wild on its grounds. The park is dotted with 27 stone monuments bearing poetry from the Manyoshu.

    Verga is a multi-use facility located in Hakushu-machi, Hokuto City. Covered with forests and located on banks of the Ojira River, it offers experiential programs in rainbow trout hand catching and insect hunting, a barbecue area, a hot spring bathhouse, a campground, and other outdoor activities. There is even a waterslide that makes use of the waterfall on the Ojira River. This park is popular with all ages, thanks to activities such as drawing natural Hakushu Water and taking walks in the woods.

    This nature park is a 30-minute drive from either Ichinomiya Interchange. or Kofu-Showa Interchange on the Chuo Expressway. It includes a number of active play areas include a free space equipped with a massive playground that leverages the area's geography, the Lion's Pond, where park goers can engage in water play, and a bicycle course. There is also a science museum located in the park that features exhibits on a basic theme of a journey through humanity and also hosts a variety of events.

    Built for the purpose of creating strong hearts and bodies, Oshihara Park is a place where you can enjoy great views of Mt. Fuji in the south, Mt. Yatsugatake in the north, and the Southern Alps in the west. It also functions as an evacuation zone during emergencies like large-scale earthquakes. In addition to natural grass and artificial grass athletic fields (there is a charge for use), there are wide lawns you can freely enjoy, as well as multi-purpose zones, children's playground, and a multi-purpose square.

    Yamanashi Minami-Alps-shi Ogasahara
    A five-minute drive from the Minami-Alps Interchange on the Chubu-Odan Expressway. This park was built along the Takizawa River in Minami-Alps City. Consisting of walking paths and grass lawns following the river, many people like to use it as a walking course in the morning or evening. There are also stepping stones in the river and locals come here to enjoy the waterside as well. In May, bluish-purple irises come into vivid bloom along a one kilometer stretch of the river in the park on both banks. An Iris Fair is held here when the flowers are in bloom and during this time visitors can enjoy a food area, stage shows, and shopping.

    滝沢川に沿ってできた細長い公園。公園というより遊歩道という感じです。 5月には川の両岸に約1キロ、紫色のアヤメが咲きそろいます。 ちょっとした散歩におすすめ。 桜の季節もgood。

    It is a national park located in the mountainous area of the Southern Alps centering the Akaishi Mountains, attracting popularity mainly among climbers who have climbed many famous mountains such as the second highest mountain in Japan next to Mt. Fuji, Mt. Kitadake, Mt. Kaikoma, and Mt. Senjogatake. There are a variety of endemic plants and animals such as Kitadakesou (callianthemum hondoense), Ranunculus kitadakeanus (buttercup), and the Japanese black pine butterfly. There are two information centers in the area that exhibit materials about the nature and ecology of the Southern Alps. The center offers guidance on hiking and classes for nature walks.

    This park is about a 20-minute drive from Shimobeonsen-Hayakawa Interchange on the Chubu-Odan Expressway. The park is located upstream the Shimobe River past Shimobe Onsen Resort. It is one only habitat in Japan where genji-botaru (Luciola cruciata) fireflies reproduce naturally. The clear water that flows through the park's brooks is a sign of the efforts that volunteers from the local hot spring district have made in order to preserve the firefly's habitat. The best time to see the fireflies is in mid-June. Many flowers bloom profusely around the park's waterways and the chirping of wild birds can also be heard in the park. Some of the park's attractions include a hill with a gazebo at the top and a grassy square. Visitors can also enjoy taking a stroll through the park during the daytime.

    Located 3 minutes by car from the Nagasaka Interchange on the Chuo Expressway, this park is a small park with a natural habitat for fireflies, and the members of the Firefly Society of Akiba Park are working to create an environment where fireflies can live. During the firefly viewing period, the streets are turned off so that it is dark underfoot, so be sure to bring a parent or guardian to watch the fireflies.

    During the hydrangea season, visitors at this park can enjoy viewing the many hydrangeas along its promenade. The roughly 200 meter-long promenade leads to Saru Bridge, known as one of Japan's three most famous unusual bridges. The park also features an area near the Katsura River that flows through the northern part of the park where visitors can enjoy barbequing and other activities. Part of the park is home to the municipally-operated Otsuki City Local Material Museum. The museum features exhibits on the history and natural environment of Otsuki City, including the 12 Views of Beautiful Fuji.

    This lush green park was built in 2001 on the concept of conveying the natural beauty of Oshino Village, known for its great water sourced from sacred Mt. Fuji, to future generations. In addition to a grassy park with a play pool and a large playset, the park also features the Mori no Gakushukan learning center, where visitors can learn about Oshino Village's natural environment, and the Yamanashi Prefectural Fuji Spring Water Aquarium, one of the few freshwater aquariums in Japan. These facilities and more make the park a popular destination for families.

    The main stage for winter's famous Kawaguchiko Winter Fireworks, Oike Park is a park with beautifully arrayed poplar trees spreading along the east side of Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge.     大きな公園で、普段はランニングなど、体を動かしに来る人が多いようです。 3月末の桜満開の時期に訪問したら、サクラまつりが開催中と書かれていました。 公園の周囲を取り囲むように桜が咲いていてとてもきれいでした。
