    Roadside Station Tenno/Tenno Green Land is full of tourist and shopping facilities. From the symbol of the area, Tenno Sky Tower, to farm-direct sales and a natural onsen, there's something for the whole family. There is a tourist information office, as well as the Lagoon People's Exhibition, featuring displays about Hachiro Lagoon. Displays include fishing equipment used before its reclamation, pictures of the area drawn by Edo period travel writer Sugae Masumi, and more.

    This roadside station is along National Route 46. The direct sales center offers farm products brought fresh every morning. The Iseki Togei no Sato offers pottery classes. And since this is the only rest station on National Route 46, it is popular with long-distance drivers and has a large parking area.

    国道46号線沿いにある道の駅広々していてグランドゴルフ場などもあり快適です。そばに遺跡があるとは思いませんでした。 施設の中もきれいで快適です。 レストランでははちみつプリンをいただきました。地元産のはちみつが乗ったプリン、おいしかったです。

    This roadside station is along Akita Prefectural Route 2 Odate Towada-ko Line. It's fully equipped with restaurants, direct sales areas, large restrooms and a rest station. It's near the Manma Land direct sales facility for local brand Momobuta pork, and convenient to one of Japan's 100 Best Waterfalls, Nanataki. The restaurant and direct sales area are closed from around November to the beginning of April.

    Located along National Route 7, this is among the largest roadside stations in the Tohoku area. In addition to the local product hall and restaurant, there is a day-trip hot spring and the Ashihotto foot bath, and many other travel facilities. And not only is there an observation deck on the sixth floor, there's an observation hot spring on the fourth, Chokai no Yu, with a view from the baths of the Sea of Japan year round. There's a banquet hall for large groups, making it a big draw for tour groups.

The information corner allows traffic updates via their touch screen panels. The Nishikaigan Herb Garden is also nearby, and from late June into July they hold a Lavender Festival.

    good for local products. the ladies in the store did not sell jizake - local sake nihonshu - but put us in touch with the local sake brewer so we could go over there directly and buy great akita sake.

    This roadside station on National Route 285 is famed for being on the Hinai-jidori chicken farm grounds. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes including those with Hinai-jidori chicken including ramen and Oyakodon chicken and egg rice bowl. The direct sales shop also offers goods made with Hinai-jidori chicken. The location is perfect to drop by while sightseeing in the nearby Oga Peninsula and Lake Towada.

    JRの羽後岩谷駅に隣接していますが、基本は車でのアクセスになるかと思われます・・・ レストランや物産館、温泉がある他、畳の上ですが横になって休めるスペースもあるので長時間運転で疲労がたまっている時などに重宝しそうです。

The facility has a restaurant serving kiritanpo toasted mashed rice skewers and other local dishes, a cafeteria serving set meals, and a soba noodle stall, as well as a shop selling local specialty products and a farm fresh shop selling local agricultural products. Classes on making kiritanpo, yosegi-zaiku wood marquetry, and other local dishes and crafts are held here, as well. There’s an exhibit displaying some of the gorgeous floats used in the Hanawabayashi festival, and tourist information is also provided here.

Its nickname is “Gantaro.” With a vast parking lot fitting 100 vehicles, the fully retro building has a wholesaler and a restaurant. At the wholesaler, you will find specialty goods like akebi vine goods, as well as rice, pickles, and fresh vegetables from Sennan, Misatocho Town. Also, the restaurant has dishes that use Sennan-grown Akita-komachi rice and fresh vegetables.

There is also a shop displaying and selling local wildflowers, and locals often gather here to mingle.

The parking lot also has a grass lawn, the Multipurpose Revitalization Plaza, a great place for locals to mingle.

In addition, the restaurant serves Matatabi Ramen. The nearby Yasu no Taki falls, Matagi Museum, and Kumakuma-en (Bear Garden) bring many tourists as well.
