Michi no Eki Road Station

This roadside station is along National Route 13 in northern Daisen City, Akita Prefecture. It offers a wide variety of fresh local farm goods and products made in collaboration with Aji Douraku no Sato. There is also a rest area, and is a popular local community center. The only Ichirizuka historic distance marker in Akita is nearby.

いつも何気なく通っていますが、ここは徳川家康のころ作られた一里塚で道路の両側にはりっぱな塚木が植えられており悠久の時を感じさせる場所でした。塚木はさいかちの木で幹の太さ枝振りも立派な木でした。けっこう暑い日でしたのでジャージーソフトを食べながら立て看板を見てなるほどと感心しながら道路路両方に植えられた、さいかちの木を見て来ました。
