    Hanafusa is a popular restaurant located close to Hinomisaki Shrine in Taisha Town, Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture, where guests can enjoy fresh local fish caught the same day. Their signature dish, sea urchin rice bowl, is a lavish meal of lots of seaweed and horse-dung sea urchin on rice. Other popular dishes include their Sea of Japan rice bowl with three to four thick pieces of seasonal fish, as well as their aromatic sazae-yaki (grilled turbo). In addition to the restaurant which can sit up to 25 people, there is also a souvenir shop selling local specialties.

    丼ものは美味しいのですが、出てくる水が生臭いのが玉にキズです。なんとかならないもんですかね。お茶とかが出ればいいんですが。

The restaurant serves seafood rice bowl made with high-quality hiramasa (Yellowtail Amberjack fish) from the Sea of Japan, and a sauce (with a secret recipe) that gives the dish its unique flavor. Mano Shouten also sells Ichiyaboshi (fish salted and dried overnight) made using seasonal fish species; the nodoguro (Blackthroat Seaperch) is especially popular.

    料理の量が少なく割高。一人前かと思うくらい少ない。アルコール類も割高。たいていは１合だと思うが、たったの120ml。２／３しかない。リピートすることはない。
