    A shop and restaurant where you can enjoy an abundance of fresh seafood from Ise Bay and Mikawa Bay. The seafood market area stocks some 400 varieties of seafood and marine products. In addition to buying seafood for home use, there’s also a barbecue area, cafeteria, and stalls serving delicious seafood treats. In the beachside barbecue area, you can grill fish, shellfish, meats, and enjoy dessert as well. The cafeteria has tables and tatami mat seating where you can enjoy a slow and relaxed meal. The market’s food stalls serve a variety of casual dishes you can enjoy on the spot like oysters cooked in the shell.

It is a pleasurable facility housing a cafe, sourvenir shops, and a restaurant overlooking the ocean from which you can dine on the fresh catch of the very same waters. The Baumkuchen confectionery Minamitei, awarded the highest Monde Selection Grand Gold Quality Award for two years running, is located here. You can watch the chefs making the confections through a glass window.

    Located in Uchiurakoumi, Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture is this restaurant and shop of the Uchiura Fishermen’s Cooperative said to be the place to try live Atlantic horse mackerel in Japan. The horse mackerel are bred in the nutrient rich and fast flowing tides fed by the spring waters of Mt. Fuji, the Kuroshiro current and Kano River, and they produce a fish with a firm, rich flavor. In the restaurant run by local women, you can enjoy various kinds of mackerel cuisine such as fried live mackerel set meals and live mackerel rice bowls, and you can also buy processed items such as homemade dried fish at the shop. It’s a very popular place where, using a numbered ticket system, customers often have to wait for up to an hour or more to be served on national holidays.

    This is a popular restaurant for Enoshima’s famous product “Nama-shirasu-don” (a bowl of fresh young sardines topped over rice) which has two locations on Enoshima. The shirasu they use are only fresh fish that were caught that same day. The most popular item is the “Tobiccho-don” in which plenty of fresh fish and raw shirasu are topped over rice with vinegar. Guests should note that the shirasu may be unavailable during January through March when fishing is prohibited or when there has been a poor catch. The “Shirasu-no-kakiage-don” (fritter) is recommended for those who prefer not to eat raw fish.

    A restaurant with a quiet, relaxed atmosphere, Iso Ryori Kimura is located just behind Shotenjima Park beside the Enoshima Yacht Harbor. Inside the restaurant is a large fish tank appropriate of a fisherman’s shop, and the place is popular among both tourists and locals alike. The Half Shirasu-don that is a serving of half raw shirasu (young sardines) and half kama-age shirasu is recommended.

    いくつかお店があるとびっちょですが、本店からすぐ近くのヨットハーバー店です。cafeとびっちょと言う名前にもなってますね。 他のお店同様、しらす丼もやってます。今回はコーヒーで休憩だけだったのですが、個人的にはカレーとピザが気になるので、次は食べてみようと思います。

    A tourism facility located on the Kuji river a 10-minute walk from Hitachi-Daigo Station on the JR Suigun Line in Kuji County, Ibaraki Prefecture. The fish trap is made with bamboo and wood slats and placed along the flow of the river to catch fish. The trap can be used to catch sweetfish and other river fish; bare-handed fish catching is also offered in a special pond set up here in June. Visitors can grill and eat the fish they've caught on the spot. The facility also offers dishes made with sweetfish such as rice mixed with kanroni sweet-boiled sweetfish. The facility is also a popular destination for swimming and river sports in summer.

    The salted Ayu fish is a must when visiting this place, The texture and taste is just awesome. Will not miss the place when visiting Japan.
