    A hot spring bathhouse located a 20-minute drive from the Tannan Sasayamaguchi interchange on the Maizuru-Wakasa Expressway. The bathhouse' hot spring wells up from 1,300 meters below ground in a stratum dating back 100 million years; its waters have a superb warming effect on the body. The alkaline simple mildly radioactive hot spring is used to fill the bathhouse' tubs, such as a rock bath made from Tamba stone, and a bathing area made with Tamba ware porcelain, including the indoor bath, outdoor bath, and even the floor. Each bathing area is separated into a large indoor bath area, source spring bath area, and large outdoor bath area.

    自然の中で楽しめる温泉です。室内のお風呂と露天風呂と、種類が多く入り比べをして楽しみました。人が多いので「自然を独り占め！」という感じにはならないですが、広いのでさほど気になりませんでした。

    This natural hot spring is located in Kawanishi City, Hyogo Prefecture. It's a hydrogen carbonate spring containing lots of iron and salt and is said to be effective for more than 15 conditions including sensitivity to cold, skin diseases, and women's diseases. They have seven types of baths, including an open-air rock bath, a bubbling bath, and a black silica bath, as well as two saunas. The facilities are available for day use overnight guests alike, and you can relax while taking in the view their Japanese garden. Their cuisine features seasonal dishes made with local Ishimichi ingredients and a colorful variety of fresh, organic vegetables they grow themselves on the premises.

    A lovely traditional hot spring with outdoor baths. We had bottan nabe hot pot in the big dining hall upstairs afterwards and it was a day to remember.

    A hotel located close to Suwa-jinja Shrine in Sasayama City, Hyogo Prefecture. The white walled building is reminiscent of a rural Northern European hotel, and guests staying here are enwrapped in a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel's main building has two types of rooms - Japanese and Western style; there's also a log house with a suite room. The Suite Room Pack, recommended for anniversaries and special occasions, includes seasonal kaiseki course cuisine as well as a bottle of LORAN, a spirit made from Tamba black soybeans.     A hot spring inn located in Kokuryo, Kasuga-cho, Tamba City. The waters of the bathhouse' large bathing area with outdoor bath and private reservable family baths come from a simple carbon dioxide cold mineral spring and are aid to treat such ailments as nerve pain, joint stiffness, chronic digestive diseases, sensitivity to cold, and hardening of the arteries. The bathhouse is open to non-guests and the establishment offers day-use bathing plans which include a meal of Tamba beef sukiyaki.

    去年、予約して伺ったのに営業しておらず狐につままれた者です。先日、毎日放送の「ちちんぷいぷい」という番組内で紹介されていて驚いて連絡を取りました。お陰で今年は金泉＆ぼたん鍋を十分に堪能する事ができました。お部屋は綺麗でしたし日曜宿泊の為私達一組なので大浴場に何度も入れて大満足でした。来年春頃にまた伺いたいと思います。
