    A log house-style café standing in a corner of the Hikawa Campsite surrounded by natural forest a five minute walk from Okutama Station. “Kuala” means “place where the flows gather” in the Malay language. One of the café’s most popular menu items is the Jisuke potato vegetable curry, which is topped with suage plain deep fried Jisuke potatoes, a rare variety of potato which the café grows for itself. Jisuke potatoes are a rare brand potato only grown in the Okutama area characterized by a stickiness and rich flavor close to that of the wild progenitor of the potato. The café also has glamping facilities.

    Yamabiko Cafe and Gallery is located near the entrance to Hossawa Falls, the only waterfall in the Tokyo metropolitan area that has been designated on Japan's 100 Best Waterfalls. It is run by potter Yuki Saito, whose works and those of other local potters are displayed and sold in the cafe, and who made all the potteries usedin the cafe. Customers can enjoy lovely, specially blended coffee and traditional sweets like Shiruko (sweet azuki bean porridge).

    良い雰囲気のお店。青梅駅からも徒歩2分かからないくらい。隣に文具店がある。メニューは少ないが、どれも美味しそう。スープカレーは絶品。つぶあんというだけあってぜんざいも。是非。

    A teahouse standing on Nagaodaira a short way down from the summit of 929 meter tall Mt. Mitake in Ome City, Tokyo. The proprietor is licensed as a sommelier in Switzerland and the teahouse’s carefully selected wines are particularly popular with women, leading to Nagao Chaya gaining the nickname of the “Sky Sommelier.” Only open on weekends, the teahouse bustles with mountain climbers and shrine visitors.

    御嶽山のロックガーデンの七代の滝から登ったところにある長尾平の長尾茶屋、ここなんとwi-fiが使えました。 後から知ったことですが、ここは土日のみ営業していてオーナーは神楽坂から週末のみ通ってくる元ソムリエだそうで、ワインも置いてあるとか。 『天空のソムリエ』と呼ばれているそうです

    手土産に、アメリカンカステラを持参しています。 ちょっとした物として、価格も丁度良いですね。 紙袋も素敵と、持参先のお客様に好評です。 夏場は、ゼリーも良いですね。

    This cafe is located just past the roundabout of Musashi-Itsukaichi Station on the JR Itsukaichi Line. In addition to coffee, black tea, and homemade cakes, the cafe also serves healthy lunch dishes such as keema-style curry made with multigrain rice. The cafe offers a particularly large selection of black teas, such as Shimanto Beni from Kochi Prefecture and Tsushima Yamaneko Kocha. Be sure to enjoy your tea with a whole wheat scone! Several kirie paper cutouts by artist Naomi Shoufu are displayed in the cafe. Standing at the entranceway to Okutama's Akigawa Valley, the cafe also has several books on mountain climbing, cycling, and the history of the area. The cafe is the perfect place to take a break backed by abundant natural beauty.

    武蔵五日市の駅前にある喫茶店。コーヒーもありますが、おすすめは紅茶とのこと。たっぷりポットでカップ数杯分出してくれるので、時間があるときにゆっくりと味わうべきお店です。津島のべにふうきをいただきましたが、香りも高く美味しかったです。

    "An open-air cafe standing amidst the lodging facilities and restaurants found near Musashi Mitake Shrine. The cafe's operates out of a Taisho period building and exudes a retro atmosphere both inside and out. ""Korisan"" literally means ""Old Tanuki (raccoon dog) Mountain,"" and as its name implies, the cafe is decorated with numerous tanuki knickknacks. The cafe's Tamakon Sankyodai, a bite-sized triplet of konnyaku yam cake on a skewer, is a perfect snack to enjoy on the go. The cafe also sells organic vegetables and tanuki- and owl-themed knickknacks."

    御嶽神社参拝の途中に、道端で販売している玉コンニャクをいただきました。100円で3玉付いているので、気軽に食べることが出来、味もよく染み込んでいて美味しかったです。古民家風の茶屋になっており、ペット同伴での入店が可能です。

    奥多摩から帰り西口立ち寄り。 チェーン店なんですかね？ アイスコーヒー440円、ブレンド420円、ホットケーキ500円セット割で一つ飲み物100円引。 コーヒーは苦味があり美味しい。 ホットケーキは流行りのフワフワ感がないのかいい。ホイップバターが美味しさを増している。飲み物のお代わりは半額。 タバコは外に喫煙所あり。 ご馳走さまでした。
