    Funabashi Regional Wholesale Market is located a 15-minute walk from both JR Funabashi Station and Keisei Funabashi Station. It contains shops that sell seafood, but also shops that sell fruits and vegetables, packaged meat, and processed foods, along with restaurants and bars. Many events are held here, including a market tour that the visitors can enter a -50°C freezer building, cooking classes, and open market.

Products include their Ningyo-yaki based on the Bakamen Dance in Funabashi's fishing town and shortbread with an image of Chiba-kun, Chiba Prefecture's mascot. They make over 100 kinds of fresh, top-grade seasonal wagashi sweets annually.

    オランダ屋のアウトレット商品の売店です。二人入ると一杯の売店。スポンジケーキの切れ端とか、個包装されていない落花生パイなども置いてあります。「ケーキは、何がありますか？」と尋ねると冷蔵庫から出して見せてくれます。苺ムースをスポンジで挟んだケーキが3切れで140円！家族で食べるには十分なアウトレット商品が安く買えるので、大好きです。

    A beloved Japanese confectionary shop which has continued to make delicious sweets by hand since its establishment in 1938. Skilled workers use 100% Hokkaido adzuki beans to create the shop’s a sweet bean paste. The shop’s most popular item is its dorayaki, which are made fresh each morning only in enough quantity for that day. Toraya’s seasonal tea sweets are also fantastic.

    千葉では老舗の和菓子屋さんのようですが、 ちょうどお邪魔した時期は、いちご大福があり、 白餡でお餅がピンク色と珍しいですが美味しかったです。

    店内が綺麗で衛生管理がされていること、定員さんの対応もとても良かったです。ドーナツも種類が多くてとても美味しかったです。
