    A traditional Japanese confectionery store located along National Route 128, a five minute walk from Kazusa-Ichinomiya Station. The store sells all sorts of confections including manju (sweet buns), dorayaki (bean-jam pancake), and yokan (adzuki-bean jelly). Their famous daifuku cakes (rice cakes stuffed with sweet bean jam) are made with seasonal fruits such as their mikan daifuku with a whole mikan orange wrapped inside mochi and white bean jam, apricot cheese daifuku, rakkasei (peanuts) fresh cream daifuku, as well as strawberry daifuku.

    大福が名物のようですが、「あんころ餅」と「まるごとびわゼリー」をテイクアウトしました。帰路の海ほたるベンチで休憩、おやつにあんころ餅の甘さが良かった。まるごとびわゼリーは、容器の下に［原材料 びわ 中国産…］との表示がありました。予想外。

    Moriya Shuzo is a sake brewery that was founded in 1893. Its main products are Maizakura sake, made with 100% Chiba-grown rice, and Morimasa rice shochu (distilled liquor). Tours of the brewery are offered (by reservation only), and visitors can taste the brewery's products free of charge and buy some to take home in the adjacent shop. With a spacious parking lot, the brewery can handle large tour buses. It welcomes about 100,000 visitors per year.

    "Choshi Yamaju is a specialty shop manufactures and sells Hishio, a semi-solid forerunner of soy sauce. A malt made from soybeans and barley is matured to create this fermented condiment, which is sometimes called ""solid soy sauce."" Choshi Yamaju also makes a spicy Chinese condiment, La Jiang Jiang, which has Hishio as a base. In addition to Gensho, the liquid that is produced when fermenting Hishio, the shop also sells soy sauce and miso."

    Tamurapan(bakery) produces and sells the Konoha Pan, a baked sweetsthat is a famous local confection in the city of Choshi. Using a recipe developed by the company's founder about 90 years ago, the tradition has been carried on through the second and third generations without ever leaving the family. In addition, adjustments have been made to create even better products. Many people are fond of Choshi's famous Konoha Pan, and it often sells out quickly. If you plan to buy some, it is a good idea to contact the shop to find out if they have any left.

    Patisserie Cuisson carefully prepares its sweets one at a time by hand in the shop’s kitchen and offers around 20 varieties of traditional European confections at any given time. Avoiding preservatives, the shop uses select ingredients, such as eggs from farms in Chiba known for their rich egg whites, and strawberries from farms taking particular care in their cultivation. The adjoining café sells galettes during lunch.
