The restaurant is located in the Jaran Building, named after the Korean Jeju Province name “Jaran,” meaning “hush little baby.” Floors one through three are spacious and fashionable, and it’s a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. The cold noodles and yakiniku grilled meat set have been the restaurant’s most popular item since it opened, making it easy for diners to enjoy Morioka reimen cold noodles. The soup is sweet, spicy, and simple, while the noodles are slippery, chewy, and delicious. Other popular menu items include the bibimbap set and kalbi marinated barbecue rib meat.

    This yakiniku BBQ restaurant is located along National Route 46 in the Inari Town area of Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture. It is famous as the birthplace of Morioka Reimen, noodles that are characteristically smooth and firm. Their various other menu offerings are also popular, including jajamen (noodles with spicy miso and meat sauce) and chijimi (savory Korean pancakes with various ingredients).     冷麺まつりの時期に行きました。このイベントの時は、お肉も冷麺、温麺もとてもオトクに食べられます。もちろん美味しいです。冷麺はお店によって味付けに特色がありますが、私はヤマトの冷麺大好きです。
