The station has a farmer’s market selling agricultural products and seafood as well as a restaurant serving dishes made with seasonal ingredients and local specialty products like octopus. Located at the entranceway to Gongenzaki Furusato Nature Park and Kunimi Seaside Park, the station is also adjoined by a campground.

    国東半島をぐるりと一周する国道２１３号線沿いにある道の駅で、レストランも併設されています。大分空港方面からドライブする場合、ここを過ぎるとトンネルが続く道となるので一休みするといいと思います。オブジェがあるタコの加工品を始め、海産物やフルーツ、野菜などの地元産品が販売されています。
