    This is a Roadside Station next to the Hari Interchange in Hari-cho, Nara City on the National Route 25. As well as Italian cuisine and fast food, there are many restaurants, souvenir and local produce shops, a natural hot spring and pool, Hari Onsen Land, and Hari TRS (terrace) Berry Farm, the largest tourist farm in west Japan (reservations required) in the facility.

    This roadside station located off of Naka Kaido Road in Ashihara, Oyodo Town features a number of different attractions. In addition to a shop selling fresh local produce, local specialties and processed goods from Yoshino Town, there is an on-site bakery offering fresh-baked bread, a restaurant that serves set meals, donburi rice bowls, and light meals, and a tourist information center. Its attractive building makes great use of Yoshino cedar wood.

    車中泊で利用しました。 トイレは24時間利用できます。 朝は6時ころから農家の方々が搬入されて賑わっています。 オープンは8時半からですが美味しそうなお野菜があったので軽トラから直接買わせていただきました。 とっても美味しかったです

The station also features the Himeshi no Yu, a hot springs facility.

    奈良の御杖村にある道の駅です。奈良から伊勢に向かう山中の街道にあり、温泉施設、飲食、そして地元産品のお店があります。生の日野菜が売られているのを初めて見ました。温泉は単純泉ですが露天から見える山並に寛げます。

    This roadside station is popular for its coffee made with great-tasting water and cuisine that makes use of ingredients harvested from the local mountains and rivers. Visitors can also enjoy a bath at Kamikitayama Onsen Yakushiyu, a hot springs spa located on the opposite shore. Hotel Kamikita, a lodging facility operated by the village, is also located nearby. The station's information center, which provides information on local roads and sightseeing, makes it a great base for mountain tourism.

    山深くある国道沿いの道の駅で付近にはお店が少ないので、 売店はヤマザキショップとなっておりお土産以外にもパンや 日用雑貨が売られています。 2階にあったカフェは2020年3月末で閉店しています。 対岸には温泉施設があり、駐車場から橋を渡っていける。

    This roadside station is half-way along National Route 371, the Koya-Ryujin Skyline. It provides access for climbing nearby Mt. Gomadan and Mt. Ryujin, and the colorful autumn leaves of November aren't to be missed. As you might guess from the facility's name, it has a lookout tower. Thirty-three meters tall, it resembles the stacks of wood used in the Goma fire rituals of esoteric Japanese Buddhism. There's a great view of the nearby mountains and the ocean, and it's the perfect spot for taking in the night sky, too. Shiitake-bushi made of shavings from local shiitake mushrooms comes recommended as a souvenir. The restaurant features fare made from ingredients produced in Ryujin Village.

    川沿いの国道を北上していた際、たまたま見かけて立寄りました。道の駅の一つとして期待していたのですが、平地の少ない地域柄、駐車場は狭く建物自体もまるで元役場か学校のような外観をしていました。1F部分には地元物産販売店となっており一寸した土産物調達には便利でした。又、蕎麦店が2Fにあったものの残念ながら閉店時間となっていました。

    今まで人工芝エリアだけであった犬の散歩禁止が広場内(実質施設全体)で禁止と変更されていました。いきなりの変更で非常に残念です。今日は変更に気づかずいつものように散歩していたところ、施設の方が来られ犬の散歩禁止を告げられました。施設内に飲食店があり糞尿の処理をしない一部の飼い主への対応と犬アレルギーの方もいるとの説明でした。糞尿の問題であればまず注意喚起からだと思うし、犬アレルギーを屋外て問題とされ...

    地場の野菜やヤマト揚げ、猪肉鹿肉、柿の葉寿司などが豊富です。駐車場は二ヶ所あります。南阪奈道と国道165号山麓線が交差するところにありアクセスも悪くありません。

    御手洗渓谷へ向かう道中で寄りました。山奥の道の駅の割に、大きめの施設で、軽食の販売もたくさんありました。 観光客なのか、地元客なのか分かりませんが、かなり賑わっていました。 魚の塩焼き、煮卵、こんにゃくを食べて昼休憩にしました。

With a reputation almost as stellar as that of Kyoto, Nara is a must-visit for those searching for the remains of "traditional Japan." The largely green Nara city holds the majority of the prefecture's treasures, such as the iconic Todai-ji Temple, in which a 15-meter tall Great Buddha sits, and Nara Park, where deer flock to befriend passersby. While mountains are by no means hard to come by in this area, for hiking with a reward, head to the Kii Mountains' Yoshino district in spring, when the hillsides put on an impressive display of white and pink cherry blossoms.
