Besides selling specialty products such as local fresh agricultural products and fresh fish, it also offers buffets using delicious land-based food and seafood of Kasaoka. There is also a snack corner and shop selling freshly baked bread. In addition, you can enjoy flowers throughout the year with the approximately one million sunflowers that bloom in flower fields on Kasaoka Bay’s reclaimed land.

    ひまわりカフェでソフトクリームをいただきました。 JAF の優待で50円引きの300円でした。 一番人気のぶどうとミルクのミックスを注文しました。 ミルクが練乳のように濃くって甘かったです。ソフトクリームはちょっとシャリシャリ系でした。

    Roadside Station Mt. Kuroi Green Park is located along the Okayama Blue Line in Mushiage, Oku-cho, Setouchi City. It offers a farmers’ market and a gallery, as well as direct outlet shops for Japan Agricultural Cooperatives and one that sells fresh fish. There is even a full-scale on-road course for radio-controlled car in this park. It is well known as a good place to view cherry blossoms, and in the summer, the children’s pool is open. From mid October to December, visitors can pick mikan (Mandarin oranges).

In addition, there is also a restaurant that serves a buffet of handmade country-style cooking using seasonal ingredients, and an authentic ramen noodle shop that uses store-made noodles and local miso.

    鳥取旅行の帰りに寄りました。年に何度かバイキングを食べに寄ります。今回はバイキングではなく、猪の肉を購入するために寄りました。切り落としがお買い得で、300グラムが確か750円でした。二パック購入し、その日に一パック野菜と炒めて食べました。子どもも、美味しいと沢山食べ、次の日も野菜と炒めて食べました。次回はもう少し多めに購入したいと思います。

It sells local specialty products such as round mochi rice cakes using the best variety of mochi rice called Himenomochi that is a local specialty, daifuku (red bean paste-filled mochi), okaki (rice crackers) and Junmai-shu (sake made without brewer’s alcohol). In the cafeteria, they offer menu items such as “Gyumochi-don” rice bowls combining mochi rice cakes and beef bowls.

    メルヘンの里から「がいせんざくら新庄宿」になりました。 国道の案内標識も変わっていました。 改装から日が浅く、トイレなど驚くほど広くて清潔です。 土産物の種類も多くて良いのですが、地元の農産物の販売にはもう少しだけ力を入れて欲しい。

    Kumenan Roadside Station is located along the Okayama Highway in the town of Kumenan in Kume County. The main building, Fureai no Yakata, contains a shop that sells local products, a restaurant, a cafe, an information desk, and a seminar room, but there are other facilities as well: a craft studio, a food processing plant that sells Mochi and rice crackers, and a park-like green space.

    国道53号線を岡山から津山に向かいました。途中トイレ休憩で立ち寄りましたが、トイレは道路を挟んで東の施設側と西側の両方にあります。国道で交通量が多いので道路を横断するときは車に注意が必要です。久米南町は河童伝説があるらしく施設には河童の像や土産物があります。小さなレストランがあり、「ゆず」を使ったメニューがあります。

    単品で750円、ホルモンうどんの上に、地元の食材、ジャンボピーマンも乗っていました。 焼うどんにもホルモンの味が染みわたっててとても美味しいかった。

    粟倉にある道の駅「あわくらんど」のおみやげ＋レストランがこちら。時間ではなかったので、食事はしていません。岡山と鳥取のおみやげと地場産品の野菜くだものがたくさんあります。わたしはなしとぶどうを買いました。おいしかった！

    建物は大きいですが、大部分は団体向けの宴会場です。 団体でない方が食事するスペースは、土産屋が隣接しており、横を団体がうろうろしており、落ち着いて食事することはできないかも。 お値段・味はまぁまぁです。

    岡山県南部から蒜山方面に行く途中でトイレに立ち寄りました。 帰りにもトイレだけ借りました。 駐車場はそこそこ広くて、早朝でもトイレは使用できます。 日中は飲食店や農作物を中心とした物販もあります。 今回の立ち寄り時にはコロナの対策もあり、店内で弁当を食べている人が多かったように思います。 醍醐桜とは距離が離れていますが、真庭市への入り口的な立地にあってとても便利に使わせてもらっています。

Overshadowed by Hiroshima to the west and the Kansai region to the east, Okayama is an easy spot to miss but a nature-rich gem where the Seto Inland Sea laps at its toes and peach and grape farms complete its interior. One of Japan's Three Great Gardens, Koraku-en in Okayama city is well worth a visit before progressing to Kurashiki, where preserved wooden Edo buildings line the picturesque canal.
