国東半島をぐるりと一周する国道２１３号線沿いにある道の駅で、レストランも併設されています。大分空港方面からドライブする場合、ここを過ぎるとトンネルが続く道となるので一休みするといいと思います。オブジェがあるタコの加工品を始め、海産物やフルーツ、野菜などの地元産品が販売されています。
海産物のお土産

トイレに寄らせていただきました。海産物がたくさんおいてあり姫島でとれるヒジキやタコ飯の素をお土産で購入しました。ぐるっと海岸線を回っていくので遠いかもしれませんが時間のある方は足を延ばしてください。
瀬戸内の物産が揃っています。

タコの石像が印象的です。海産物が売っており、タコの物産が多く、タコ飯の元を土産に購入しました。ひじきもありました。
