    A takeout shop and café space located on the grounds of the Seisen-Ryo lodging facility in the Kiyosato Highland in Takane-cho, Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Seisen-Ryo Ice Cream, made with Jersey cow milk and Yatsugatake water is a famed Kiyosato specialty; when in season, there’s always a long line of customers waiting to buy some. The shop also sells organic Jersey cow milk, hot dogs, and organic coffee, as well as popular fresh juices in summer. Refreshing pastureland spreads out before the terrace area, as well as a sweeping view of the Akaishi Mountains and Mt. Yatsugatake.

    A 10-minute drive from the Shirane Interchange on the Chubu-Odan Expressway. This community center's facilities include a farmers' market selling the abundant agricultural produce of Minami-Alps City, and a restaurant dedicated to using local ingredients. Here visitors can also purchase ripe fruit as well as foods such as miso, jams, and wines. The kiwi fruit wine, made with real kiwi fruit, has a fruity flavor and is easy to drink, making it popular with women. The Happy Park Cherry Festival is held here in June, and during this time visitors can enjoy a customary cherry pit spitting contest, stage shows, and a special farmers' market sale.

    A bakery just a 10-minute drive from the Nagasaka Interchange on the Chuo Expressway. To keep with their motto of making happy breads that bring joy to your mind, body, and the earth they make healthy breads using domestic wheat, natural yeast, and natural salts. They sell healthy foods including breads made with organic nuts and dried fruits and cookies without eggs or butter for those with allergies. With both eat-in space and a terrace you can enjoy your purchased breads right there at the shop.

    A shop just a one-minute walk from JR Kobuchizawa Station. They sell carefully selected foodstuffs based around the principles of Safe, Secure, Delicious and Local Production for Local Consumption. They sell local produce from the farmers coop around Hokuto City as well as additive-free seasonings and local handmade pickles, dried sweet potatoes, cookies, and cakes. They also sell pesticide-free sun-dried brown rice grown without chemical fertilizers that can be polished on the spot after purchase. They also sell seasonal fruits including peaches, grapes, and blueberries which make perfect souvenirs.

    A jam shop located within Roadside Station Kobuchizawa. The jams are carefully made by hand using local additive-free season fruits and vegetables and you can watch the process through the shop windows. They offer a wide variety of fruit jams including rhubarb, blueberry, and strawberry. Also popular is their spicy, tingly, tomato sauce and their safe and secure flavors make for perfect souvenirs or gifts. Business hours vary depending on the season.

    A cheesecake specialty shop just about one-minutes' drive from the Kobuchizawa Interchange on the Chuo Expressway. Their popular rich flavored cheesecake is made with fresh milk and eggs from Yatsugatake area ranches. Along with a variety of sweets made with cheeses they also sell the Italian cheese Caciocavallo as well as home-made cheeses and local wines. They also have a wide variety of fruit related products allowing you to choose a souvenir that fits any scene. In their dining area they serve the local Yamanashi specialty Hoto noodle soup.

    国道沿いに大きな看板があるのですぐわかります。中に入ると結構奥行きがあり店内で、チーズケーキや乳製品がたくさんあります。特にチーズケーキの種類の豊富さはすごいです。

    A shop which proudly serves apple pies made with natural water from the Yatsugatake southern foot highland spring water group, chosen as one of the Top 100 Famous Water. Along with their fragrant apple pie made with domestic Fuji apples and cinnamon they usually also serve local Akeno Kintoki sweet potato pie, blueberry pie, and wild grape pie. They also sell goods from other suppliers including Yamanashi exclusive goods and other handmade products. They have leaflets for nearby attractions and can answer tourist questions so feel free to stop in.

    Located 10 minutes from the Chuo Expressway Kobuchizawa Interchange. With their own farm spread over almost one hectare of land in foothills of Mt. Kaikoma this cultivation and fermentation winery makes and sells their own authentic fermented vintage wines from grape cultivation to fermentation. Tours are offered of their workshop and underground storage areas. Their cabernet franc is delicious with a delicate elegant flavor and is popular with women and beginner wine-drinkers alike and pairs well with meals. In their shop you can sample 10 different wines free of charge.

    This bakery is located a 13-minute walk from Kai-Oizumi Station. They offer bread and cakes made with domestic wheat and homemade yeast, which you can enjoy at counter seating inside or on the terrace (dogs allowed) along with a nice drink. The log house overlooking Mt. Yatsugatake was built by the owner himself.

    もっちりしたパンが好きならオススメです。 朝9時頃伺いましたが、既に売り切れのパンが多かったです。 店員さんの接客は親切でした。

    This Kiyosato jam factory and shop is located in the shopping mall “Tomoni kono mori” which sells only food factory produce of Kiyosato. The jam is pectin and preservative free, and boasts a safe and reassuring jam maximizing the original taste and aroma of the produce. Over 20 kinds of jams are available all year round at the market. Visitors can enjoy scones and toast with plenty of jam at the café.

    久しぶりに伺いましたが、やっぱり美味しいジャムですね。パンやスコーン、ヨーグルトと一緒に。お気に入りは、清見オレンジとルバーブ、甘酸っぱさが癖になります。
