    This leisure facility in Oshino Village, Minamitsuru County, Yamanashi Prefecture features a number of hands-on attractions to enjoy. These include a number of ninja-related attractions such as the Karakuri House, a house full of ninja tricks, the Ninjutsu Kaiden no Michi athletic experience, a throwing star practice range, and more. Their ninja shows, which feature demonstrations using genuine ninja implements, are also popular. There is also a restaurant that serves Japanese cuisine made with carefully-selected ingredients.

    This was a great stop in our full day of touring Mt. Fuji and Hakone. Staf was very friendly and me and my family had a very good time in the ninja village.

    This multipurpose park located on the shores of Lake Yamanakako featuring a natural turf square, a children's playground, and other facilities is a great place for a picnic. Visitors can also try riding Segway and play tennis, futsal, or other sports. Park-goers can also enjoy stroking the seasonal flowers while walking along the park's Mizu no Promenade or its Mizube no Boardwalk. Theater Hibiki, an amphitheater with room for 8,000 people in the center of the park, can be used to hold a variety of events from sporting competitions to concerts.

    This freshwater aquarium is located in Oshino Village, Minamitsuru County, Yamanashi Prefecture. The aquarium uses the clarity of spring water order to offer guests amazing views of the fish. The first floor is a viewing area dominated by the aquarium's tanks. The second floor is a learning area featuring a theater room that plays videos on subjects including the ecology and habitats of the aquarium's freshwater fish life, as well as micro aquarium corner where guests can view plankton and other microscopic freshwater fish life through microscopes.

    夏休み中ということもあり子供連れが目立ちましたが、平日にもかかわらず大人だけで来ているグループも多く、にぎわっていました。 一緒に行った子供は、これまで魚や昆虫には全く興味を持っていませんでしたが、ひと回りしたあともう一度回りたいと言い出し、楽しそうにあちこち見て回っていました。個人的には、さかな公園内の野草の植栽も楽しめました。 再訪予定です。

    This park built on the north shore of Lake Yamanaka features a view of magnificent Mt. Fuji across the lake. With nothing obscuring the view, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Fuji, including to the Sakasa Fuji (upside down Fuji) that occurs when Mt. Fuji is reflected in the lake's surface. From mid-November to early February in particular, many people visit the park to see the Double Diamond Fuji created when the sun sets over the Sakasa Fuji and the real Mt. Fuji.

    "This marine sports shop is located about a one-minute walk from the Hotel Mount Fuji Iriguchi bus stop or about a 40-minute drive from the Gotemba Interchange. It is notable for having the only pedestrian bridge on Lake Yamanaka. It is also famous nationwide for its wakeboarding school, which has produced multiple professional wakeboarders including Japan's first world champion. The most popular plan is their ""Wakeboard Zonbun Course,"" which includes a lecture and plenty of wakeboarding time to enjoy. Members enjoy a number of special perks including a members-only boat. This is the only place in the Kanto area where you can enjoy three different hydro marine sports including flyboarding. This new type of water pressure-based sport has been covered on TV."

    Christmas Forest Santa Claus Museum is 15 minutes by car from the Yamanakako Interchange and 30 minutes from the Gotemba Interchange. This museum, which is devoted to Christmas, as its name implies, is also quite near Asahigaoka Lakeside Greenspace Park. All sorts of Santa Claus-themed objects are on display, including oddities such as Santa in summer clothes or a Christmas tree with Santa's face hung on it. The museum shop sells Christmas trees, wreaths, and similar souvenirs.

    This park is located about a ten-minute drive from Yamanakako Interchange and just next to the Bungaku no Mori Koen-mae bus stop. Just as names suggests, the more than 86,000 square-meter park features a number of literature-themed facilities including the Mishima Yukio Literary Museum and the Tokutomi Soho Memorial Museum. Other attractions include open spaces, a pond, and the Kakurenbo Hiroba. The latter of these is notable for play equipment made from a more than 50 year-old Japanese larch as well as fun installations that use the senses of sight and sound such as the Doppelganger Mirrors and the Sound Telescope. The park's walking paths allow parkgoers to enjoy nature at a leisurely pace including seeing a diversity of plants and wild birds. The park is also dotted with monuments bearing classic Japanese poetry.

    "This art museum is about a ten-minute drive from Yamanakako Interchange or about a 15-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Interchange. Is located immediately next to Oshino Shinobi no Sato bus stop. The museum shares a building with the Koike Kunio Drawing Letter Art Museum. It exhibits a large collection of photography by Koyo Okada, a photographer who was enamored by the beauty of Mt. Fuji seen from Oshino Village. In addition to a permanent exhibit of 50 photographs includes his masterpiece ""Kohan no Haru"" (Spring on the Lakeshore), the museum also displays Okada's cameras, the writings of authors with whom he was close, and other items. The museum broadly introduces the achievements of Okada, who was known to many as ""Koyo-san."""

It is open every day of the year starting at 6 a.m. from April to October and 7 a.m. from November to March. It features a restaurant, clubhouse, and other facilities. Fishing fees depend on a variety of conditions. Visitors can rent a fishing rod if they do not have their own.
