    A theme park situated along National Route 135 in Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture. The park’s spacious grounds, equivalent to five Tokyo Domes, are dotted with sports facilities. The park features 14 varieties of athletic equipment and fun attractions for children and adults such as Battle King, where visitors can climb in a robot and fight each other; Water Balloon where you can jump in a giant clear ball and walk on water; and Zip Line, where you can fly through the air sliding down a metal wire. There’s also a park golf course and other entertaining facilities; there’s tons of fun things to do for people of all ages! For visitors with dogs, there’s a restaurant where you can eat together (terrace seating only), attractions you can ride together, and a dog run.

    Japan’s largest safari park, located in Susono City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Some 30 species of animals, including a variety of large herbivores, bears, and lions live lives of ease in the park’s Safari Zone, which visitors can drive through in their own car or take a park bus tour through to view them up close in an environment close to their natural habitat. In the Fureai Zone, visitors can play with and feed kangaroos, capybaras, and other small animals. There’s also a popular Walking Safari course which lets you walk the outer perimeter of the safari zone on foot (closed in winter). The park offers a Night Safari course only on Saturday, Sunday, and holiday nights in spring and summer.

The aquarium’s centerpiece is its coelacanth exhibit, which includes extremely rare displays of both a frozen and a mounted coelacanth, a deep sea fish whose form hasn’t changed in 350 million years. Other popular exhibits include a large aquarium filled with animals from Suruga Bay, a treasure trove of deep sea life; an almost magical tank of luminescent fish; and a tank housing giant isopods, famous for their ability to live for years without eating.     This plum garden located in the city of Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture was first opened in 1886 and is famous for its “ume” (or Japanese plum/apricot) trees considered to be the earliest blooming in Japan, and other fall foliage, considered to occur the latest in Japan. In addition to 59 varieties and 472 individual plum trees, the garden is also dotted with some 380 deciduous trees of other species, allowing visitors to enjoy beautiful seasonal scenery while strolling about the grounds. The garden’s “Daiichi-go” (“Number One”) plum tree generally blossoms around late November to early December, while the garden’s various other varieties gradually come into bloom one after the other from January through March. The Atami Baien Festival is held from mid-January to mid-March, and during this time a footbath facility and souvenir shop are opened on the garden grounds. Geisha, rakugo comedic storytelling, and other performances are also held during the festival period.

With a lot roughly nine times the size of Tokyo Dome, there are 4,300 fruit trees in 160 varieties, with 15 types of fruit-picking available annually. There is also a food court, a pizzeria with a kiln, a barbeque area, a winery with 100 types of wine including homemade varieties, and shops that sell fruits and products.

    Stopped here for lunch, not much options, and had some o-k pizza and pasta. Relatively inaccessible unless you had a car. The park was split into two areas. The food area had a nice huge playground...

There’s also a Ferris wheel, go-carts, a Dinosaur Forest dotted with lifelike dinosaur models, and a miniature golf course, making the park the perfect place to enjoy an entire day as a family or group.

    Beautiful place and beautiful animals. It was not busy so our child could interact with the animals; feed giraffe, touch a Rhino, etc... lots of fun.

At the top of the mountain, visitors can enjoy the seasonal beauty of the Sky Garden or check out the popular café and sofas overlooking the surrounding area in the Fujimi Terrace area. At the foot of the mountain, there’s an all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant and shops selling a wide variety of souvenirs.

    This place is less crowded. It’s more suitable for kids. Roller coaster and boating is the main attraction of this site . Overall an average place to visit

    Located in Kawazu Town, Kamo County, Shizuoka Prefecture, iZoo is one of the largest zoos in Japan dedicated to reptiles and amphibians. iZoo cares for a diverse variety of reptiles and amphibians, including an endangered Galapogos giant tortoise, iguanas, lizards, snakes, and frogs. In addition to indoor and outdoor animal exhibits, visitors can also enjoy taking commemorative photos, petting, and feeding some of the zoo’s creatures. Children 30 kilograms and under can take a photo riding the giant tortoise (extra fee required). Closest station: Kawazu Station on the Izu Kyuko Line. Closest bus stop: The “Shobusawa” stop on the Tokai Bus.

    Watch out when you walk around the iZoo. There are reptiles crawling on the ground. The most exciting part is touching the snake and lizard. You can also feed the tortoises.

    A theme park which makes the most of the beautiful scenery in the Shuzenji area of Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. The park’s spacious grounds are a whopping 500 thousand square meters. The park is divided into numerous distinct areas, such as the British Village, modeled after a medieval English townscape; the Canadian Village, modeled after the city of Nelson, Canada; the Western-style Fairy Garden; Japanese Garden; and the Takumi Village, where visitors can try Japanese traditional crafts. Visitors can travel between the areas using a bus or the British-made Romney Railway train. The park is also famous for its autumn foliage, and in fall, the leaves on the park’s approximately 2,000 trees, including 1,000 maples, change into beautiful reds and golds.

    A family-oriented theme park located at the second station at the foot of the southern side of Mt. Fuji in Susono City, Shizuoka Prefecture. In addition to standards such as a Ferris wheel and merry-go-round, the park is home to one of the largest funhouse mazes in Japan as well as playgrounds with 16 varieties of play equipment and an indoor facility where children can play with over 1,000 different Tomica toy cars and Plarail toy trains. The park’s Sylvanian Families and Ultraman areas are popular with children and adults of all ages.
