This freshwater aquarium is located in Oshino Village, Minamitsuru County, Yamanashi Prefecture. The aquarium uses the clarity of spring water order to offer guests amazing views of the fish. The first floor is a viewing area dominated by the aquarium's tanks. The second floor is a learning area featuring a theater room that plays videos on subjects including the ecology and habitats of the aquarium's freshwater fish life, as well as micro aquarium corner where guests can view plankton and other microscopic freshwater fish life through microscopes.

小規模ながら、中身が濃く楽しめる

夏休み中ということもあり子供連れが目立ちましたが、平日にもかかわらず大人だけで来ているグループも多く、にぎわっていました。一緒に行った子供は、これまで魚や昆虫には全く興味を持っていませんでしたが、ひと回りしたあともう一度回りたいと言い出し、楽しそうにあちこち見て回っていました。個人的には、さかな公園内の野草の植栽も楽しめました。再訪予定です。

昨年3月退職前の有給に家族で富士五湖に行った時に行きました。ここに行ったのは就職前に行ったので17年ぶりでした。
意外と立派

名前の通り、森の中にある水族館で、忍野八海から車で数分の場所にあります。主に淡水魚の展示になりますが、中央にあるリング状のメイン水槽はかなりの大きさで、飼育数も多かったです。他の水槽は小型が多いですが、小規模ながらキレイに整備された水族館でした。
