This tourist rest stop located at the base of Okutadami Dam serves as a hub for sightseeing in the Okutadami and Oze area and also offers local specialties and other products. The onsite restaurant has a close-up view of Okutadami Dam, which was the setting of the movie Whiteout. The terminal is popular for its great views of beautiful autumn foliage in the fall and of fresh greenery and Okutadami's natural splendor in the summer. Our recommended souvenirs are the terminal's Okutadami no Tsukudani (a simmered seafood preserve) and its original Ao Nanban Misokko Kyuri pickled cucumbers.

Amongst the local Sado products you'll find persimmon butter, fig jam, and grape liquors. In the restaurant one of the most recommended menu items is the black-pork curry which uses pork from local Berkshire pigs. The back deck of the restaurant stands almost 850 meters high, giving you a great view of Ryotsu Bay, the Kuninaka Plain, and Ogi Peninsula. They are closed from mid-November to mid-April due to snow.
