- hickory03travelers is a shop run by a group of creators, based on the concept of “enjoying the everyday.” The shop is run from an old wooden store in Chuo Ward, Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture. The shop is packed full of various things such as originally designed T-shirts and towels, miscellaneous items and food stuff. As well as that the shop sells a lot of products which have been uniquely selected for their association with Niigata. Visitors are sure to pick up something that’s unique and cute, certainly something that makes you feel relaxed.

- This traditional Japanese clothing store is on Ganki Street, which has a 16 kilometer covered walkway, near Takada Station on the Myoko Haneuma Line on the Echigo Tokimeki Railway. Besides kimono and obi belts they also offer Japanese tableware, bags, hand towels, and other accessories. They have an after sales services with kimono adjustment, stain removal, and water repellant finishing. They can also help you with how to put on a kimono. The building was awarded 7th Joetsu City Landscape Design Award and the Landscape Grand Prize of Ganki. The interior is a typical old Japanese town house with a fashionable, calming space that takes advantage of the warm wood and vaulted ceiling.
