  • Futtsu Park

    This spacious park on Cape Futtsu is where you can exercise in various ways with facilities such as with a jumbo pool that opens for the summer, indoor swimming pool, multi-purpose playground, campground and tennis courts. In addition, there are two observation towers on the grounds: the Meiji Centennial Observation Tower where you can look out on Tokyo Bay, and the Nakanoshima Observatory where you can enjoy modern heritage from the Meiji period (1868?1912) to the early Showa period (1926?1989).
  • Tsunezumi Strawberry Farm

    This strawberry farm is locate just a 10-minute walk from the JR Shimogori Station, or about a 45-minute ride on the Aqua Line. Visitors can enjoy strawberry picking from the end of January up to about the beginning of May. The varieties that are available for picking are the Benihoppe, with its characteristic slightly tart but sweet flavor, and the very sweet and not very tart Akihime variety. The plump fleshed and highly fragrant Tochiotome variety, although not available for picking is for sale on the farm as well. One can pick-all-they can eat for 30 minutes, and the farm provides the sweetened condensed milk for free.
  • Kaneda Mitate Clam Digging Beach

    This clamming beach is in Nakajima, Kisarazu City. The season runs from early March to early July. It is the closest beach of its type to the Tokyo Bay Aqua Line and has conveniences like a barbecue zone and a free rest area. The barbecue zone remains available for use from the close of clamming season until the end of September.
  • Kuzuma Beach Clamming Ground

    The Kuzuma Beach Clamming Ground is located in the Kuzuma district of Kisarazu City. The beach is open for shellfish-gathering from early April to early July each year; visitors can hunt for short-necked clams and other shellfish. There is also a special “Golden Clam Hunting” activity, in which participants who find a golden clam can win a prize of fried seaweed (a local specialty).
  • Sodegaura Park

    Sodegaura Park is located in Iitomi in the city of Sodegaura. It is built around two ponds, with walking trails, an observation deck, open spaces, and a museum. It is also equipped with large-scale playground equipment. The iris garden contains 15,000 plants representing 50 species, and they are a splendid sight when they bloom around the middle of June. Visitors can enjoy viewing different kinds of plants and trees blooming throughout the year, including field mustard, hydrangeas, cherry blossoms, and plum blossoms.
  • Futtsu Beach

    The largest beach in the city, it is located in the southern area of Cape Futtsu and is characterized by its highly transparent and calm, shallow waters. The entire cape makes up Prefectural Futtsu Park, and you can enjoy leisure activities such as clamming and camping besides swimming, making it a place visited by many tourists.

  • KURU BERRY FARM

    This strawberry farm is on Prefectural Route 93 in Mukaigo, Kimitsu City. They cultivate two varieties: Akihime and Benihoppe. Picking season runs from January to mid-May and reservations are required. Their Kazusa-no-Sato Aisai Batake farm stand sells premium fresh seasonal vegetables at reasonable prices.
  • Shin-Maiko Beach

    Shin-Maiko Beach is located in Yahata in the city of Futtsu. Visitors can enjoy the broad expanse of the sand beach and swim in very clear water. In good weather, the views across Tokyo Bay of the Yokohama Bay Bridge, Yokohama Landmark Tower, and sometimes Mt. Fuji make this an attractive location.
  • Egawa Beach Clamming Ground

    Egawa Beach in Kisarazu has long been a place where marine industries such as nori seaweed and clam cultivation thrived, and is now the only natural tidal flat left in Tokyo Bay. You can go clam digging from the spring to the summer using this tideland. Be sure to purchase or bring your own rakes and nets, since only rakes for large groups are available to rent.

    This spacious park is located in Sodegaura City, and has a baseball field, softball field, grassy plaza, tire playground equipment and health-promotion playground equipment. In addition, besides the large Gulliver Fort, there is also a pond where water flows in the summer that has become a spot for children to enjoy themselves. The pool can be used for a fee in the summer.

    This blueberry farm is a seven-minute drive from JR Makuta Station. The farm cultivates safe to eat pesticide-free blueberries. The farm takes great pride in its robust, sweet, large berries. Visitors can enjoy time-unlimited all-you-can-eat blueberry picking which also includes blueberries you can take home. The farm has a cafe in its log house-style management building; the parfaits, smoothies, and jams made with blueberries are popular.

    This is one of the Sodegaura City Local Museum's exhibition facilities. It's in Sodegaura Park. Established to commemorate the first anniversary of the Tokyo Bay Aqua Line, it has Aqua Line related models, items, and displays on the civil engineering technology used for its construction. The venue is sometimes used for other exhibitions, too.

    This fruit orchard located in Kimitsu City, Chiba Prefecture cultivates fruits such as pears, blueberries and strawberries, and is where you can pick various fruit every season. In addition, there are outdoor facilities including an automobile campground and barbecue location, and also trial courses for motorcycles and four-wheel drive vehicles. You can relaxingly spend time in the middle of nature.

    This tourist farm cultivates four varieties of strawberries: Benihoppe, Yayoihime, Kanamihime, and Oi-C-Berry. From January to mid-May you can reserve your spot to pick strawberries without a time limit. They sell strawberries picked fresh the same morning starting in late December, dried and frozen strawberries, and prepared strawberry items like jam and vinegar.

    Chiba Kimitsu-Kameyama Children's Nature Center is a research and study center that stands on a site 4.5 times the footprint of Tokyo Dome. It can be used for learning activities that take advantage of its natural environment full of wild animal life, and various kinds of nature experience events take place here throughout the year.

    This fruit grove is located in Kaiho, Ichihara City. This farm grows Miyamoto Wase, TakabayashiWase, OkitsuWase and ChabaraWase varieties of mikan citrus using minimal chemical fertilizer. Visitors can enjoy picking mikans from October through December. The direct shipping store operates through February.
  • Onuki Chuo Beach
