    Chiba Futtsu-shi Kanaya 2288 the Fish
    This souvenir shop is filled with over 3,000 Boso souvenirs, including Chiba Prefecture's famous loquats and peanuts. The edible bamboo charcoal peanuts, only available here; and the seasonal Yachimata-grown in-shell peanuts are particularly popular. You can find many other products which exude the charms of Boso here, as well, including pickled rapeseed blossoms; loquat jellies; and merchandise featuring Kananyan, the official mascot of the Kanaya district. The shop is located in The Fish facing Tokyowan Ferry Kanaya Port, making it easy to stop by here when heading home after a day of exploring Chiba.

    This large rest stop facility is located in Tokyowan Ferry Kanaya Port. The facility houses Shokusai Ichiba, a souvenir shop which boasts one of the largest souvenir sales floors and selections on the Boso Peninsula; the Harunatei restaurant; and another restaurant specifically designed for large groups and which has seating for 550 people. Shokusai Ichiba carries a wide selection of famous Chiba products and is a convenient place to search for souvenirs on the way home from a day of sightseeing. The ferry terminal also has a wonderful view. On clear days, visitors can see Mt. Fuji, the Izu Peninsula, and Oshima Island.

    東京湾フェリーの金谷側のフェリーターミナル内にある食堂です。 海鮮系メインの食堂で各種海鮮丼や浜焼きなどを食べることができます。 釣り鯵丼とアジフライをいただきましたが、プリプリしていてとてもおいしかったです。 軽食系もありましたのでフェリーの待ち時間にサクッと食事するのにも便利そうです。

It is a pleasurable facility housing a cafe, sourvenir shops, and a restaurant overlooking the ocean from which you can dine on the fresh catch of the very same waters. The Baumkuchen confectionery Minamitei, awarded the highest Monde Selection Grand Gold Quality Award for two years running, is located here. You can watch the chefs making the confections through a glass window.

    This souvenir store is along the National Route No. 297 in Itohisa, Ichihara City. This souvenir store carries over 2000 specialty items, but especially peanuts, for which Chiba is famous, and peanut products and sweets. It also sells fresh FusanoTamago eggs sold only at the Fusanoeki. The store has a simple restaurant serving sashimi and tempura dinners and hoto stew.

Its wares include such famous items as Junkin Kuroshio Monaka, thin crispy mochi wafers with pure gold leaf filled with adzuki bean paste, and Chiba Musume Tamaguri, along with Yokan (bean paste gelatin) as well as western confectionery including cake and other baked goods. They are great for eating at home or to buy as souvenirs or gifts.

    "This brewery located along the Kururi Highway was founded in 1716. It brews the renowned sake ""Fukuiwai"" that uses remarkable water from Kururi that was chosen as one of the 100 Exquisite and Well-Conserved Waters of the Heisei Period (1989?2019), and has been highly receiving, winning gold medals seven times at the Annual Japan Sake Awards. Although it does not offer tours, there is an adjoining direct sales shop where you can enjoy free samples."

    Eitaro, loved for its confections for years, is famous for its tanuki monaka (a sweet in the shape of a raccoon dog) which was first created in 1955. The sweet, associated with the belly-drumming raccoon dog of the nearby Shojo-ji Temple, is made in two varieties, a sweet adzuki bean paste made of a mixture of mashed and whole beans, and a sweet white bean paste. Both are popular. Their tanuki senbei (rice crackers) with cute pictures of raccoon dogs on them are also popular as souvenirs.

    大多喜市街の端っこにある昔ながらの和菓子屋さん。 うぐいす餡の最中をいただきました。そんなに期待していなかったんですが、鮮やかなうぐいす色にキリリとしたシャープな甘さがうまいです。

    This longstanding kamaboko steamed fishcake shop has been in business for over 100 years. The shop is located close to Nokogiriyama Kanaya Onsen south of JR Hamakanaya Station. The shop's kamaboko is made using walleye pollock and has a flat shape similar to satsuma-age deep-fried fishcake. Its kamaboko has a charming, simple flavor that is the result of years and years of experience. Another point worthy of note is the shop's reasonable prices, the result of its use of fresh seafood caught in Tokyo Bay and the fact that the establishment makes its own products and sells them direct. In the morning, customers can enjoy deep fried kamaboko fresh-made from the kitchen.

Established in 1835, the longstanding company makes its soy sauce by first crafting its own koji malted rice using old-fashioned wooden tubs. The company uses no additives except alcohol to suppress mold growth, creating pure brew dark soy sauce. The company's Tamasa Shoyu is a standard soy sauce which takes around one year to make. The company's Usushio Shoyu low salt soy sauce is made according to a proprietary method which removes only the salt content from regular soy sauce, and makes a great soy sauce for using as a condiment to sprinkle on foods.

The shop's sells vaunted baumkuchens made with an abundance of Princess Eggs, a premium egg variety which has won the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award. The shop's slow-baked Sennen Waum baumkuchens are a staple favorite and make great gifts as well. The popular Toro Nama Baumkuchens series are double-layer baumkuchens made with chocolate and fruit and have been featured in the media. In the adjoining cafe, you can enjoy a variety of baumkuchens and beverages.

    This tsukudani soy sauce boiled preserved foods shop is a seven-minute walk from JR Kisarazu Station. The shop's Japanese littleneck clam tsukudani, made with a secret recipe sauce and the littleneck clams which are one of Kisarazu's specialty products, are reasonably priced and have long been a favorite of local residents. Their strong, salty-sweet flavor is sure to be addicting. The shop sells some 20 other varieties of tsukudani by volume, including Japanese pond smelt and shirasu whitebait. The shop's tsukudani assortments make great souvenirs and gifts.

    アサリが2種類の味があって選べるようになってます。他に種類がありますが九州から越してきたので、あさりの甘口が好みです。真空パックもあるのでお年寄りのお土産に買います。混雑してる時はかなり待ちます。
