    The bright, open atmosphere of the Sea Birds Café, with its glass wall, has the feel of a resort and is popular for its unusual open scenery and design as if the café is floating on water. The café has an extensive menu and is available for parties and wedding parties. During the day there is a space for children to play so is a great place for lunch for families. It is directly connected to JR Hitachi Station.

    The services are poor, and the food is mediocre, blah blah blah... But the moment I looked out the window, I remembered Bills in Shonan / Kamakura. Presumably, the shop owner followed suit to it...

    A coffee shop using in-house roasted beans located an 18 minute walk from Otsuko Station. Surrounded by trees and greenery, this hideaway-style café has a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The café operates out of a renovated former charcoal grilling restaurant; retaining many traces of its past, the buildings large windows provide nice views of the surrounding seasonal scenery. The view is particularly beautiful in spring as the new leaves come in and in fall when the autumn foliage colors the area. The shop’s Sanso blend, a coffee blend created through much trial and error by the owner, has a clean, refreshing flavor. The café’s handmade sweets go well with coffee as well. The lemon cake, topped with dried fruit, has an invigorating, lemony flavor.

    A Japanese retro-style café. A tanned leather sign inscribed with the café’s name hangs at the entrance. The café’s amber colored furniture is out of another time. The café’s menu primarily consists of Japanese-style “yoshoku” Western food such as old-fashioned Neapolitan spaghetti and pizza bread. Shierikan’s popular mocha parfait and tea parfait are served in tall, fluted glasses topped with a hearty dollop of whipped cream and are accented with coffee or tea jelly, respectively. For customers who feel these are too large, the café also offers reasonably-priced mini parfait sets.

    本来はカフェなんでしょうが、ランチのラーメンが美味しかったです。鯨が丘のやや古い街並みの残る商店街、外観とラーメンに惹かれて入りました。あっさり優しい醤油ラーメンは味わい深くとてもおいしかったです。時間の都合がありラーメンだけにしましたが、セットなども美味しそうでした。

    おいしいランチをいただきました。 パスタを頼みまして、エビがプリプリでとてもおいしかったです。前菜ではキッシュ、サラダ、コロッケなどが載っていてとてもボリュームも、見た目も満足できました。何よりも海を見ながら食事できるのが良かったです。また行きたいと思いました

    日立市にあるレトロな喫茶店です。ソフトクリームが美味しかったです。写真は小倉ソフトとコーヒーのセットで１０００円ほどでした。

    パスタやピラフのお店ですが、出張でホテル周辺の夕ご飯を食べるお店を探している時に偶然見かけたので入ってみました。とにもかくにもボリューム満点の内容で、少し残してしまいました。
