- Ibaraki Pref. Hitachishi Omikachou 1-6-7
- "A Japanese confectionary shop located not far from Omika Station on the JR Joban Line. The establishment was founded in 1868. The traditional flavor of the shop's famous ""Omika Manju"" buns have long been a local favorite. The buns make no use of preservatives and are made with Hokkaido Tokachi adzuki strained bean past wrapped and steamed in a dough primarily made from rice flour. The ""Hagi Monaka"" toasty wafer cakes filled with firm, strained bean paste are also recommended. The shop's ""Tsuitachi (the first day) Kashi"" yokan jelly bars, only sold around the first of the month, are made with seasonal fruit and are so popular the shop is regularly flooded with reserve orders."
