Happy More Maket Medicinal Herb World located in Ginowan City, Okinawa Prefecture is a direct sales vegetable store with a range of delicious, fresh vegetables. It sells fresh vegetables which are supplied by about 700 contracted farmers. At a café in the shop, you can have smoothies and curries using seasonal vegetables. The store sometimes stocks rare vegetables, which are not handled at a grocer’s, supermarket or other stores.

This cafe, situated in Nakijin Village in the Kunigami County, boasts an amazing view. Its position on top of a hill affords a view of the sprawling Yambaru Forest, and beyond that is the East China Sea. Enjoy some macrobiotic dishes plentiful in both volume and flavor as you gaze at the majestic scenery. The vegetables used are farmed organically in Nakijin using natural methods. The cafe places a premium on freshness and preparation technique, making sure to bring out the vegetables’ natural flavors to the fullest. This cafe is a one-minute walk from Kakinohana Spring, and its location atop a hill offers an excellent view of the sea. Besides terrace seats, there are also outdoor seats that allow pets. The interior is nice and spacious, so you can bring small children without worrying about bothering other customers. The menu features items such as homemade taco rice and curry that use Okinawan ingredients, as well as cakes and other sweets. The beef curry is slightly sweetened so that children have an easier time eating it.

名前の通りロッジのような外観。靴を脱いで2階に上がります。窓に面したカウンター席に座れて、綺麗な海が見えて素敵。高台にあり、とても景色が良い。料理メニューは少ないです。私はカフェ利用でした。お客さんは本を読んだり穏やかに会話を楽しんでいたり。混んでいる時でなければ、大人がのんびり楽しむのに向いてます。

This cafe is at 2 Matsuo near the First Makishi Public Market. Its menu offerings, created by Yuko Yamanouchi, are based on the idea of “delicious breakfast enjoyed while traveling.” Among the offerings are granola, acai bowls, eggs benedict, pancakes, and other items made from ingredients purchased at the Makishi Public Market. Northern European furniture decorates the interior, whose décor is a fusion of styles from Okinawa, Hawaii, and Northern Europe.

Had to queue up for more that 30min as the place was small. The food was above average western style food.Similar food can be found at many other places in Singapore.

You’ll find this cafe and restaurant right after crossing the Kouri-ohashi Bridge. This popular spot has been featured on TV several times. The wooden building interior is decorated with seashells, and the wood produces an inviting atmosphere. This agu (Okinawan pork) restaurant uses “Kogachi agu” from the agu specialty store “Kippo” in its dishes, with “shio-yaki” (salt-grilled dish), “shabu shabu” (thinly sliced meat boiled quickly with vegetables), and other items making full use of the sweet and flavorful pork. There’s also dessert, with “Kibi soft cream,” which is topped with caramel sauce made from boiled sugarcane, enjoying particular popularity.

Ordered the curry rice (about 660Yen) and the sugar cane coffee. Great view of the bridge and water.

The restaurant structure itself utilizes natural limestone, and the tatami seats offer a splendid view of the atoll. Nearby is the establishment’s sister restaurant, “Hamabe’s Tea House.”

If you can get the window seat, you sure can stay there for the entire afternoon. Love the view!! The cold noodle is our favorite! The atmosphere is perfect too.

SeaSideCafe Hanon is the café closest to the sea within Mihama Town Resort American Village in Chatan, Nakagami District. The café’s pancakes are cooked to order; a range of different toppings are available, including ice cream, scrambled eggs, etc. Visitors can also enjoy coffee made using beans from Italian coffee firm caffe CAGLIALI, which are only available at 10 cafes in Japan.

It was hard to choose just one thing on the menu! I decided to try the Eggs Benedict and was blown away! The food, views, and friendly staff are top notch. Give the latte a try too!

Xuehua no Sato Naha is a café located five minutes’ walk from Makishi Station. The café’s main draw is its Xuehua Bing desserts, which provide a different taste experience to conventional ices or Kakigori shaved ices, but the café also serves Taiwanese coffee, Taiwanese Oolong tea, and Chinese rice porridge, etc. Despite being located close to the bustling Kokusai Street, the interior of Xuehua no Sato Naha provides a quiet, relaxing environment.

国際通りから少し入った場所にお店があります。駐車場はありませんが付近にコインパーキングや時間貸し駐車場があるので不都合はありません。フワフワで味の付いたカキ氷は他では中々味わうことができません。過去に何度か利用した際にはプレーンのものを注文しましたが、今回は期間限定「森のくまさん」を注文しました。メープルシロップが幸せな気分にさせてくれました。
