    Located close by Shinsui Park in Shizuoka Prefecture’s Atami City, this coffee shop was founded in 1959. The shop interior has a striking retro style as if one had gone back in time to the Showa period (from the mid-1920s to late 1980s), with various detailed and elaborate decorations that catch the eye. Inside the center of the shop is a pond in which carp are swimming around. Enjoy coffee and tea along with a menu of food from the good old days that includes warm egg sandwiches, Napolitan spaghetti, and home-made pudding.

    This is a bakery café set deep inside a quiet forest in Shizuoka Prefecture’s Ito City. The fragrance of fresh-baked bread wafts inside the shop, and they normally carry more than 80 types of hand-made bread ranging from French bread made with natural yeast, to Paris-style croissants, German bread, and pastries. There are seats available inside the store and on the terrace, and pets are allowed on the terrace seats. In addition to the bread one has purchased, guests can also enjoy a menu arranged for the season with items such as lunch sets.

    We found this place on TA and made our way there as we headed back to Tokyo. It turned out to be a beautiful place, well hidden in a forestry neighbourhood. The parking near the entrance was...

The shop has a relaxed atmosphere thanks to the warmth of its wood interior and high ceiling. Guests can enjoy specialty coffee which is hand-dripped after receiving the order in handmade cups made by artists. Their sweets made with carefully selected ingredients such as the Shira-tama Cream Anmitsu and the Mitsu-mame are also popular.

    古くからある商店街の中に、オシャレなカフェといった雰囲気でした。 焙煎珈琲豆がテイクアウトでき、注文してから焙煎してくれるので、少し時間がかかりますが、新鮮な香りが楽しめそうです。

Even beginners and children can create their own works using sand, shells, glass which can be completed in about 60 minutes. While waiting for your creation to be completed, or before or after the experience, relax in the old house relocated from Niigata that is now used as a cafe. Reservations are not required (however, reservations in advance are accepted if you have decided a date).

    Marie IZU is a bakery and boutique shop located in Kannami Town, Tagata County, Shizuoka Prefecture. The white building stands among the mountains along the Nekkan Road. The bakery and cafe with seating on the terrace also has a boutique shop which sells goods for everyday life. The bread is made without any added preservatives and the exquisite taste of the bread captures the simply made dough. The bakery stocks about 40 different kinds of bread at any one time and it can be enjoyed with a cappuccino or cup of tea in the cafe. The cafe also serves food such as pasta and omurice (omelet filled with rice). Dogs are allowed on the terrace and you can get some wonderful views of the Hakone mountains and Mt. Fuji.

    This coffee shop founded in 1966 in Shimoda City, Shizuoka Prefecture, is run from a charmingly old, wooden, private house with Namako (sea cucumber) wall effect. The ceiling of the shop has a unique port town style to it like the inside of an upturned boat. All sorts of old regalia like curios, pottery and things picked up on foreign travels are packed into the shop making it the kind of place where you just might discover a gem or two. The shop’s specialty is the Vienna coffee topped with whipped cream. Their tea parfait with vanilla ice cream on carbonated iced tea is also popular.

    学生の放課後の贅沢。親子2世代で通うほど昔からあるそうです。店内は静かで、長くゆっくり楽しめます。トイレに行くのがまた変っていて面白かったです。下田に来た際には必ず立ち寄りたいお店です。

There’s Nasi goreng, pad thai, and many other ethnic dishes, not to mention various kinds of toast perfect for breakfast. From thick slices of bread topped with Kawazu-made wasabi spread and cheese to “Amagi Toast” featuring Kawazu-produced honey, many of the popular menu items utilize local ingredients. You can enjoy a view of the river, sea, and mountains through the large window, and the Kawazu cherry blossoms make for an amazing meal experience when they’re in bloom.

    這裏位置比較偏僻,走在河津櫻的對岸,位處於接近河口的位置,但這裏能夠在露台觀看河津的美景,一邊享用精美的甜點和咖啡,我們當天在早上11時許到達,能夠靜心的欣賞,逃離煩囂的遊人。實在很好的一個祕境。唔好話畀咁多人知呀!
