    Osaka Osakashi Chuou-ku Imabashi 2-1-1 Arai Building
    A popular Western confectionary shop located close to Kitahama Station operating in the renovated Arai Building, which was built in 1922. The beautiful and stately stone building is a nationally registered Tangible Cultural Property. The shop serves sweets made with carefully selected domestic flour, milk, rice flour, and fruits. The shop itself is filled with cakes and a variety of other delicious baked goods. The cake salon on the second floor is redolent with the atmosphere of the Taisho Roman style and is designed around the concept of relaxation for the gentleman and lady. Here patrons can enjoy an elegant break while dining on a cake of slice of French toast whose appearance and flavor speaks of the skills of the pâtissier.

    This chocolate specialty shop and cafe is found in the corner of Karahori, a good old-fashioned Japanese street. This shop is a part of the shop Len, which was built from a restored classical Japanese house. The owner and chocolatier uses only the best cacao from the home of chocolate, Belgium, and has worked hard on creating a chocolate that would match the tastes of the Japanese people. Working hard on original recipes the shop has limited monthly specials such as sakura (cherry blossom) themed goods in March and strawberry themed goods in April.

    This is a popular bakery located on the first floor of the FOBOS building which has an area to eat in, and it is about a four-minute walk from Hommachi Station on the Midosuji Line. An abundant variety of breads made with carefully selected ingredients are lined up in this country style cute shop. In addition to the traditional breads baked with traditional manufacturing methods, they have become famous for their delicious vegetable bread made using fresh vegetables bought in from contracted farms. The recommended sandwich is the “open vegetable sandwich”, a sandwich consisting of a sweet pumpkin focaccia stuffed with plenty of seasonal vegetables which are good for your health.

    Hitoyoshi located in Chuo Ward, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture is a specialty handmade monaka wafer shop and is popular as a new signature Osaka souvenir. The wafers made from 100% Japanese glutinous flour are crispy and go very well with the miso (soybean paste) filling made from organic Japanese white miso and white kidney beans produced in Hokkaido as well as a coarse bean filling using red beans produced in Hokkaido. It sells signature products such a coarse bean filled wafer and a burdock wafer as well as western-style wafers including a rum raisin flavor and a lemon and ginger flavor which are sold according to the season. As the wafers and fillings are separate, putting them together just before eating allows you to enjoy the crispy texture.

    谷町筋沿いにある最中の人気店。最中の具がカップに入っており、別の袋に入ったパリパリの皮に入れて一口でパクリ。お客様への手土産に良く使う。店主のお母さんの気遣いが凄く良い。

All of their stunning chocolates looks like they belong in a beautiful jewelry box.

    松屋町にあるチョコレート屋さんが阪急のバレンタインの催事場でクレープを売っていたので食べてみました。 クレープは焼きたてのモチモチで生地だけでも美味しい！ 中に入った固形のチョコレートもいい感じに溶けていてさすがチョコレート専門店！といった美味しさでした。
