    A long-standing western confectionary store that has been located in a high-end residential area of Tezukayama for nearly half a century. It is best known for its buttercream cake, the main ingredient of which is fresh cream-a luxury item at the time of the store's establishment. The recipes of the store's most popular products, cheesecake and Mont Blanc, also remain almost unchanged from that time. In the cafe space of the store, customers can enjoy the traditional cakes and sweets, as well as Ronnefeldt tea, which are served in the only seven-star hotel in the world. The store is open all year-round, except New Year's Day.

    This is a specialty store selling potato sweets located in Abeno Ward, Osaka City. It is a long-established store dealing only in sweet potato since the end of the World War II. The shop is famous for its queues of many fans visiting from afar to taste the sweet potato covered in special nectar called “Abeno potato”. The potatoes used are of high quality, carefully grown on the stores own farm or by contracted farmers in the tropics. The entire product manufacturing process is completed by hand, making for a wonderful product. In addition, the store also sells “Mishima Yaki” which is steamed and grilled in secret seasonings and “Kuri kinton” (sweet chestnut paste) which is limited to the end of the year.

    This long-established confectionery was founded in 1900 and is situated in Naniwa Ward, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture. It is famous for its “Tsurigane Manju“ brand of sweets based on the large temple bell that used to exist on the grounds of Shitennoji Temple. The bakers prepare each and every Tsurigane Manju with care, giving the moist sponge cake dough and Hokkaido-produced azuki (red bean) jam a gentle taste. There are plenty of other sweets on sale as well, and the banana-shaped Naniwa sweet “Nadai Basho” is popular as well.

    Founded in 1910 this delicatessen is managed by a long-standing meat dealer and has a menu focused on options like kushikatsu (skewers of fried food) and croquettes. Appearing in the media plenty of times, they are well known for items like their captivating Tsutenkaku croquettes and Doraku beef-katsu sandwich. The beef-katsu sandwich has an amazing volume and it far outstrips other sandwiches. It's very popular for hungry people. The shop also sells top quality ground beef and a variety of cuts of meat.

    地下鉄堺筋線恵美須町駅の一番南側も出口から地上に出たらすぐ。堺筋と平行に走る細い路地沿いにある店です。「新世界肉市場」の中の一軒で、揚げたてのカツでサンドイッチを作ってくれます。嬉しいことにイートインスペースもあって、私達はおとなしくビフカツサンドをいただいただけでしたが、後から入ってきたお兄さんはお持ち込みの缶ビールでコロッケと串カツを食べていました。ん-、そんなことをやってもいいんだ(笑)

    A long-established shop founded in 1932, They use traditional vegetables from Naniwa to ingenuously produce and sell pickles such as nuka-zuke (pickles fermented in rice bran), kasu-zuke (pickles fermented in sake lees) and kombu-zuke (lightly pickled seaweed) that allow you to enjoy various seasonal flavors. Their signature product is Senshu Mizu-nasu Maru-zuke (pickled uncut eggplant). The uncut eggplants have a mellow taste, and you can enjoy their unique crispness. In addition, their kombu seaweed-seasoned turnips, eggplants pickled in rice bran and pickled fruits and vegetables are also recommended.
